Business Owner

Nancy E. Dryden is an attorney residing in Jasper County, Illinois. She concentrates her practice in Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 bankruptcy and related areas of law, handling bankruptcies in the Southern and Central Districts of Illinois. She earned her Juris doctorate degree at the University of Iowa College of Law, Iowa City in 1996 (go Hawkeyes!) and was a literature major at University of Evansville, Indiana before that. Prior to studying law, Dryden was a part owner of Newton Wiring & Cable, a manufacturing concern located in Carmi, Illinois which provided wiring harnesses to the white goods industry. She served as CEO for the company which employed upwards of 100 employees and was, during its peak season, the second largest employer in White County, Illinois.

Dryden began her law career working with a seasoned solo practitioner, who handled a variety of types of law including personal and small business bankruptcy. In a small firm environment like that she was able to become
