For over a year now, I’ve been seeing Brendan every week. He is my favorite person in the whole world and my best friend forever and ever, I just think it’s weird he sticks needles in me and makes me pay to hang out with him. Who does that?! In his defense, he has helped my crippled and diseased train wreck of a body more than anything else I’ve tried (and I tried a lot.) He’s done more for my fibromyalgia, autoimmune disease and physical trauma than any medicine. My body has changed so much from all of his work. And he keeps finding new and exciting ways to hurt me/​fix me. Really, he’s the best. Everyone who has suffered with chronic pain needs a Brendan.

I have never received acupuncture before my visit with Brendan Carney.
I slept on my neck wrong, it felt stiff and my range of motion was limited.
When I arrived Brendan made me feel very comfortable, he asked me questions and determined where my pain way coming from. Over 30 minutes he found the central point of my pain and his techniques helped give back my full range of motion that day. Over the next 48 hours all of my neck pain and stiffness was gone. I couldn’t believe it!
Highly recommended. The location in Newton has off street parking and center was very clean.

Brendan is a seasoned and skilled acupuncturist. He will listen closely to you and draw on his experience to diagnose and treat you. I felt great pain relief after my session with him. He was also very accommodating when I got stuck in rush hour traffic and was nearly an hour late.

Central Path Acupuncture and Wellness is great! Brendan does an excellent job at making you feel comfortable during your treatments and goes to great lengths to make sure you are an active part of your healing process. In addition to treating me for some low back pain, he was also able to help alleviate some GI symptoms I have as a result of a more chronic illness.
The venue is clean, bright and calming. There is great energy to the place and the artwork on the walls is actually made by a local artist and for sale as well.
I would recommend this place to anyone looking to try acupuncture and get some relief from their health concerns.

I recently received acupuncture at Central Path from Brendan. I would recommend treatment here hands down. You will be well taken care of, fully informed of the process and leave feeling great overall. Brendan takes the time to make sure you understand what he is doing and how he can help you feel better. Who wouldn’t want to feel less pain, anxiety and chaos to name a few? Get in there and experience it for yourself.

Brendan is great — I’m new to acupuncture and Brendan made the introduction really positive. My treatment was pretty basic, mostly addressing stress and blocked energy. Felt a signifigant improvement over the following week.
Highly recommended, especially if it’s you’re first time.
