At my guitar repair shop we do not perform big box store one size fits all set ups. Everyone’s playing style is a little different and I realize and appreciate that. I will personally take the time to sit down with you and discuss how we can get the most out of your guitar. We will work together to decide the best way to customize your set up to fit your personal playing style and needs as an artist. Whether you are a professional or an enthusiast I am certain I can make you happier with the way your guitar performs. Until your guitar is properly set up I guarantee it’s ability to perform is greatly hindered. History

Established in 1990.

Back in 1990, a guitar shop was born into the fine City of Waltham Massachusetts…

It’s name…

GuitarWorks!

It quickly became known in the local music scene as «the» place to go for getting ready for your gig… or just to hang out and shoot the breeze!

We supplied gear and accessories at prices far below the «big box» stores in the area, as well as the smaller, so called, «mom and pop» type stores.

We were also known for doing great set-​ups and rebuilds.

Well, GuitarWorks had faded away into the sunset…

But it’s time for a new dawn!

Back when I opened GuitarWorks, besides the store-​front, I was doing mostly set-​ups and repairs and some tube amp hotrodding…

Although I kept up on the guitar modding on the side, I recently decided to dedicate more time to it, as my love of guitars has failed to dwindle ;)
