Ken Meyer is the violin whisperer. If you need any sort of work or adjustment done on your instrument, he’s the one to call. You need to schedule at least a few weeks in advance to guarantee his time, but there have been quite a few occasions when he’s been able to pencil me in last minute for an emergency adjustment. A week before any major performance, I always make sure to schedule a short appt — he’ll make sure your instrument’s in the best shape possible for your concert/​audition. Only con with Ken is that he almost always runs behind, so be prepared to block off at least an extra hour or two to be on the safe side. The wait is definitely worth it.
