We are locally owned and operated and have the largest selection of country music & country crossover artists in New England. Our conversations are community focused, programming is based on needs of our area, and we excel in time of need.

Established in 2007.

WCNL returned to Newport, NH in 2007 after 18 years being located in New London.

Business Owner

Since 1997, Steve Smith has worked in the radio industry. As a Goshen native, alumni of Newport High School, Steve was thrilled to have the opportunity to return WCNL to it’s original hometown, and bring local radio back to Sullivan County.

Steve is married and has one daughter.
