History
Established in 2014.
NEK Swim was founded in late 2014 by Sabrina Zervas and Chris Keller; recent transplants to the NEK. Sabrina, being a local elementary school teacher, obviously has a love for teaching not only in the classroom, but for teaching others to swim! Chris runs the business end of NEK Swim, utilizing his degree in entrepreneurial studies and successful business know-how.
Together we strive to ensure everyone enjoys a pleasurable experience with our leaders and instructors alike. Our missions is to become life long swim and water safety instructors for your friends and family!

Business Owner
Being an American Red Cross Certified Lifeguard and Water Safety Instructor since 2005, Sabrina has been working on and off as a lifeguard and swim instructor ever since!
Sabrina started out as a lifeguard for Nassau County’s public pool facilities. She soon moved up, lifeguarding on the beaches of Long Island, NY. While continuing her lifeguarding career, she begin teaching swimming lessons. In the summer of 2008, she became the director of the Learn to Swim Program at her facility. Since then, she not only teaches infants, children, and adults how to swim; she also coaches instructors how to provide top quality lessons.
Currently Sabrina is in the process of becoming a Red Cross Certified, Life Guard Certification Instructor.
