History

Established in 2011.

I started Locksmitty’s Mobile Lock Shop in the Tooele valley in Utah. It was wonderful to get to know so many of our neighbors while providing them with high quality locksmith service. My partner joined me in 2014.

We found ourselves thinking of the Oregon coast on brutally hot or frigid days. We decided to close up shop in UT and go where we really want to be — Newport.

I made the huge mistake of calling another company first with their promise of a «$ 15 service call, there is 20min» when I needed a re-​key on a house urgently. They refused to give me a bid over the phone & it was very difficult to understand both their scheduler & the locksmith. I drove almost an hour & a half to the house only to have the locksmith still not be there! In desperation, I called Locksmitty’s and was amazed! Not only did I talk to the owner directly, he told me when he really could be there & get the job done right the first time. He was finished incredibly quickly and even took payment over the phone as I had to drive back. In my book, there is only ONE locksmith now in Tooele!
