I absolutely love this store! I go in for candles, jewelry and just a pick me up. The ladies in the store are genuine and very helpful. I have had henna done and it turned out so great I am so excited to go back for more:) I’m a hairstylist and even with my hands in water and chemicals the henna stained dark and lasted. I recommend daily for clients and friends to go to the bayfront and visit the bohemian shop.

Henna tattoo was beautifully done free hand. Be aware that it will not appear for 24 hours. Once it appeared, it was beautiful. Unfortunately we were not told that it would take some time to appear so we were disappointed at first.

One of the best non-tourist trapy shops in downtown Newport. She has moved to a larger space and it’s lovely. When we were down, they were offering henna and/or tarot card readings. We always pick up a hand-poured soy candle. So many scents to choose from, great jewelry selection and such a nice owner lady!

I love this place! I go once a year and stock up on candles every time. They smell natural, burn a long time and you can bring the jar back(or any jar) and they can fill them again. I look forward to visiting this place every year.

I brought my wife all the way from Portland to visit for her favorite incense shop in Newport! They just relocated to a store front setting & is super cute! The owner is really friendly & everything is reasonably priced. We will definitely be back!

I love these type of stores… So when I saw this one I was extremely excited… I was going to replenish my candle supply and maybe try something new… saw a great bag that I thought I wanted. BUT the energy of the lady sitting there was so foul we HAD to leave… The hubs asked if I’m getting the bag anyway… Why? She obviously didn’t want my business… So I will take it where it would be appreciated… I thought it was the classic ignorance of judging people by how they look… She didn’t know that I was ready to spend $$$ because they have some sweet things… oh well someplace else with people who appreciate or don’t mind people who look different will get our business… Seriously this lady looked up and continued about her business like no one was in that store… Good to know… Will NOT be visiting this or any affiliates of this store(doubt they have any lol) The only positive thing was the bike outside I will post the picture…

This store is amazing! The owner is super friendly and makes all the candles inside her studio. They smell wonderful. She carries so much more than candles, beautiful, unique jewelry, Papaya products, lotions and other trinkets! One of a kind and a great asset to Newport Bay-front!

The energy of the store is amazing. You walk in to find an array of homemade candles, inspirational cards and touching gifts. I am in love with the Mariner Teak fragrance of which I have bought several candles and a really lovely reed oil diffuser. I previously purchased an inspirational card that I framed and a magnet that lives on my fridge to this day. I stumbled across this candle and ‘novelty’ store a couple years ago during a trip to Newport and was thrilled to see it had been expanded this fall. My partner and I took the opportunity to talk with the owner and discovered that the store has a great meaning to her and she puts a great amount of energy into the items that she sells in her store. Stop by if you’re in the area and you’re sure to find a nice gift or something for yourself that will move and inspire you. The woman working is likely the owner, Monica?, and she’s lovely as well.

Really cute shop. Friendly staff too. Couldn’t check in for some reason, told me I was to far away… I was right in the store. Not their fault, something with Unilocal.Really nice place.

This is a great little store to check out! The lady working there the day I went in was very friendly and knowledgeable of the products that are sold there. Of course there are lots of candles sold, which are made locally at their studio — lots of great smelling ones! I really liked the Papaya brand products they sold — bags, notebooks, artwork, etc — very pretty! I found some essential oil shower bombs which are made specifically for duh, using in the shower — which is a great idea for the soaking tub deprived 99%ers. There was a variety of scents to choose from — they’re all packed up right now, but I know I got one that said it was for hangovers!
