Oh. Man. Was this place cute! But don’t be fooled by directions! Got lost while trying to find it, but super sweet environment, and amazing looking food! Just got a latte today because they were out of the frittatas, but all of their pastries looked delicious as well as anything else coming out of the kitchen! Fresh roses on the tables were a sweet touch! Also wanted to add that the service was really sweet! Noticed a lot of bashing on the customer service, but the girl who helped me out was quite patient and polite! Had a great experience talking with a friend over coffee over there! Looking forward to going earlier next time to try the veggie frittatas!

Expensive and service is slow as hell. I waited for a simple bagel with cream cheese for 30 minutes when the only other two people had ordered two crepes, which also took a crazy amount of time for them to finish.

Popped in for a quick caffeine break. The place is cuter than I expected for the location. It’s set in a office/retail setting near spa Gregory(different building around the corner). When I entered I really liked the quaint, shabby chic décor. Ordered two iced coffees and a cookie to split. Wish the people working there would fake a smile at least! That was a con for me. Decent iced coffee and the peanut butter cookie was small but tasty. I was happy they offer truvia sweetener too as many places don’t. I also like that they have outdoor seating. 10% off for a Unilocal check in is also a plus.

Stumbled across this café as I was waiting for an appointment, and loved their décor. Their food and drinks are extremely overpriced but I did love the vibe, the chic seating and calming atmosphere. I tried thr«Mediterranean pita» which in my opinion was NOT a pita, but more like a quiche texture/flavor mixture wrapped in phyllo dough. Either way it was pretty good, filled with egg and feta cheese. I also had an earl grey hot tea which was standard tea and not anything out of ordinary. The place earns 3 stars for their service, food, and the décor, but unfortunately thr café isn’t worthy of any more stars in my opinion. However, I’ll most likely be back for tea or coffee since my drs office is around the corner.

Bummer I took picture after we ate but it was very good. This place has a charming appeal. Roses on the table with indoor and outdoor dining, small and quaint with a limited menu, it is a cute place to grab a bite. I noticed they had pre made items in a case(like the egg burrito assuming they heat it up) and a nice selection of pastries. We ordered a egg white omelette with spinach and cheese with a small scoop of avocado(guacamole) on top served with fresh fruit. Very light meal. Latte was not good and service was slow and there were only maybe 3 tables being served. The ladies were accommodating when we returned the latte for another one which was appreciated. I loved the table set up and the beautiful china that our meal was served on. May come back but would not be on my top list of breakfast places.

Initially was going to give good review after having lunch there even though service was so so. But I went back for breakfast and the service here is well, rude. After hearing from my friend that they have some weird deal about letting you order their crepes(which make up over half the breakfast menu), I was unsure about going back. They told her that the crêpe was too big for one person. She had ordered two for she and hubby. Then on a return visit they told her that is would be 30 the. 45 minutes to get crepes!!! Seriously. So I took my daughter who thought that was crazy(and it is – hello you are in a service industry!!!). So we were ready to counter the long wait with a couple pointed comments. Well we met with the response that they weren’t serving crepes that morning. Wild Strawberry we are done with you. Stop putting crepes on the menu if you have no desire to make them for customers. Unless you post that you have fired the surly woman who works breakfast., we won’t be back.

I didn’t know this place existed until today… While I was waiting for my massage appointment, I figured I can grab a cup of coffee. The café itself is very cute. The lady who works there can be a bit nicer and more friendly though… I even left her a tip, so don’t think that lack of tip was the issue. Considering that famous people come here, it shows that they do things right but they can work on their customer service skills a bit more…

The food was absolutely amazing. I had the turkey sandwich that was to die for. That bread! I was really bummed that the girls at the counter were insanely rude I couldn’t tell if it was because they overwhelmed or just not into serving me but it really turned me off from the place. Good food helps but bad service can kill a place for me when deciding on whether or not to return there’s so many good cafes in the area that service is very important!

I came here with out of town guests because of Unilocal. We were in the area and needed a lunch place close to Roger’s Garden. I could not have been more delighted with this find. From the moment you enter this darling, cozy and friendly place, you realize you are in for a treat. The menu was full of options for every taste and is health conscious as well. We had a hard time choosing what to order because everything sounded scrumptious. While we waited, they were sweet enough to bring us a small sample plate of all of their cold salads and we couldn’t have been more delighted. From the spinach and beets salad to the black bean and edemame salad, we would have been completely satisfied with those alone but then our entrées came and it was heaven. While wonderful music played we dined on a chicken quesadilla, roasted veggie sandwich, and an Italian crêpe with spinach, roasted peppers, mozzarella and pesto. Even though we were completely full we had to have some homemade desserts. We shared phyllo dough apple strudel and chocolate drizzled coconut macaroons. They were so moist and flavorful and worth every calorie. If you want a special place to meet with girl friends or to have a tender moment with a loved one, you need to try this place. They perfectly combined a wonderful ambience, with outstanding service and incredible food for a reasonable price. This will be on my treasure list for sure!

This establishment is a sad excuse for a café. If they spent half the time decorating on the food, it might be mediocre. My girlfriend and I ordered the Mediterranean crêpe, which was highly recommended on Unilocal. What a dissapointment. The crêpe wrap was undercooked, the chicken is dry AND bought from an outside source and brought over. If I could give less than this I would. Please rename your restaurant to Rotten strawberry café Edit: The strawberry crêpe was better, rewarding you two stars

Very nice european style café, I like the atmosphere there, service is good too. Pleasant music, fresh flowers, good coffee and backed goods this is what makes your breakfast or lunch perfect. I will go more often.

Cute little spot for a quick bite to eat… or so I thought. It’s cute and small and not too crowded but it wasn’t quick at all. You order from the register and pick a spot to eat, there’s not much dining inside but they do have seating outdoors which was great since I had my dog with me. I ordered the Italian crêpe with a ginger smoothie. They told me it would probably be about 10 – 15 minutes for the food/smoothie, that was fine. I went outside and caught up with my friend. She ordered a tuna salad which came out about 10 minutes after we sat down. We literally sat there for another 10 – 15 minutes(I was expecting the rest of the food to come out after hers) and when I realized it wasn’t coming, I told her to just start eating. I think we were seriously there for half an hour before my food came out. Luckily, I hadn’t seen my friend in a while so we had a lot to catch up on so we were able to pass the time. When they gave me my food, they told me that they were out of the ginger smoothie and offered me the kale smoothie. I was fine with the kale smoothie but it had bananas in it which I’m not a big fan of because I feel like all I can taste is banana so I asked if I could get it without the banana. She said well, it’s not a lot of banana, it’s just one banana so you can’t really taste it. I was like fine okay. She literally brought out our kale smoothies a minute later which made me realize no wonder she was trying to sell me on the banana! They had already made it! Even worse, it tasted like bananas. :(I wouldn’t recommend getting the smoothie either because it was $ 6 and a small cup. It was also warm so I don’t know if they just had it sitting out for a while. The crêpe was pretty good, a good portion but for the salami, it was an additional couple bucks(from ~$ 9 to ~$ 11). It had pesto in it and they definitely put a lot of pesto in it but I love pesto so I was fine with it. The staff themselves were really nice but I think they’re just INCREDIBLY understaffed-it was such a long wait for the food and it is definitely a lot more pricey.

This little cute café is located next to the newport beach library. I adore this place for the fresh and flavorful food. If I had more time for lunch I would dine there instead of to going all the time. My favorite sandwich on their menu is the veggie sandwich and cucumber salad. Simple food packed with flavor! I never feel like I’m eating grass!

I got the oatmeal which was served cold. I definitely want to try this place again because it’s such a cute little café. My boyfriend got a turkey avocado sandwich which was really good but my cold overpriced oatmeal is the reason for the three stars.

Cute café hidden in a plaza across from Fashion Island. For breakfast, they don’t have any of their lunch salads/dishes available, so I tried the veggie frittata and acai bowl, which were both okay. However, because of the wait, they gave us a free brownie and cookie! They were okay too. The nutella latte was good, but the friendly service def bumps this place from 3 to 4 stars. The inside of the café is also pretty cute.

Awesome light food. I usually get the open face Tuna Sandwich. Very tasty. The side salads are awesome. Spinach Strawberry salad. They have a very good breakfast menu, though I haven’t tried their breakfast menu… yet. It’s a great place for a healthy lunch or breakfast. Friendly staff.

Absolutely superb café. Cutest little thing, you can’t really tell from the outside given its location is in the midst of a businesses, but once you step inside you get a sporadic Parisian/european vibe. Love the décor, so adorable. I love how every table has freshly picked roses and the presentation of the food on seemingly china plates. The workers are friendly as well, except for one or two that gave me a slight attitude when ordering, but such grievances are forgotten once delving into the crepes they have. The first time I came here I ordered the berries and banana crêpe with nutella and the second time I ordered the carmelized banana crêpe with nutella. Liked the berries one a lot more. Finding this place is a bit challenging, took me forever the first time I came and even the second time, though with less challenge.
