The Modern Vault is a creative curation of unique and fabulous mid century furniture and accessories based out of Newport Beach, California. Owners Shelly Haywood and Lisa Cameron opened the Modern Vaults doors in September 2013 in order to bring more options for mid-​century furniture and accessories to beautiful Newport Beach and the greater Orange County, California area.

Our goal is to offer only the most exceptional pieces, every one of which is carefully selected and curated to be a distinct treasure for the discerning mid-​century connoisseur as well as the casual collector.

Modern Vault selects only the finest pieces — many of which have been professionally restored to their original luster. Avoiding the consignment store mentality, Modern Vault purchases items outright in order to maintain the highest standards of quality.

Each piece is carefully selected and displayed to show off its beauty and simple design. ‘We want to show what the pieces will look like in your home when you walk into our showroom.’ Each area in the store is divided into sections that balance perfectly with the theme in each vignette.
