George Chelius III graduated with distinction with a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in taxation from Loyola Law School and has experience in wills, trust and estate planning, tax planning, corporate transactions, partnership (LLC) and corporate formation, tax litigation and real estate transactions.
George L. Chelius has been practicing law for over 35 years and has been General Counsel to public and private companies since 1975. During this time Mr. Chelius has provided clients with the insight to resolve hundreds of cases from complex multi-party airport litigation to simple contract cases. Currently, Mr. Chelius is co-trustee of an estate valued at over $ 100 million and is well versed in wills, trusts and estate administration. In his work as co-trustee, Mr. Chelius interacts with numerous beneficiaries, CPAs, attorneys, bank personnel, financial planners, lending institutions, appraisers and real estate professionals. Also, Mr. Chelius was heavily involved in an IRS 706 dispute that saved the estate millions of dollars in estate taxes.
