We are open for dine in, takeout and FREE late-​night delivery Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.

The Beach Barrel specializes in rustic gourmet fare, including fresh salads, signature sandwiches, handmade flatbreads, French fries and our house Barrel Burger. Most everything on our menu is made in house, from the mojo marinade and pickles on our Playa Cubano sandwich to the dough and sauce for our flatbreads and pizzas. We use jerk sauce from Jamaica, chorizo for our chili from Ochoa’s in Santa Ana, and you’ve never seen a dessert quite like our decadent Hawaiian Sticky Buns.

We prepare each item to order with a focus on quality and flavor, and we believe it shows in our food and reviews. We also offer catering for company picnics, small weddings, corporate meetings, birthdays, anniversaries, golf tournaments and more!

Meet the Business Owner

Jared J.

Business Owner

The Beach Barrel is a fast casual restaurant from Jared Jones, the founder of late-​night delivery company Midnight Muncheez. We are open for dine in, take out or delivery for Newport Beach residents.

After closing Midnight Muncheez, Jared, along with Mac Carlson – owner of the Green Room Surf Shop in Fountain Valley and Social Costa Mesa – began developing a rustic surfer-​style restaurant. Jared and Mac’s vision was to create a rustic quick-​service restaurant with creative food, an evolving menu, and ingredients from local farmer’s markets.
