Dr Wynn has been a very professional, good and credible orthodontist — he was our dr 15+ years ago for our older girls. Great chair side manner and very friendly HOWEVER his office manager of the past 25 years is the most rude, grouchy, unhappy, condescending lady ever. She triggered all those terrible memories of years ago and I find it hard to believe she still has a job. I believe Dr Wynn is a fabulous dr but good luck to any new patient that has any questions or is 1 minute tardy — not so easy crossing over her «gates of hell/​large in charge demeaning attitude». Patients do yourself a favor and just be aware and be prepared or she will make it miserable. Needless to say we cannot even fathom going there and would rather drive to Nebraska before going back! Im not sure Dr Wynn is aware of how awful her representation is so best of luck — office is conveniently located but not worth the agony.

As the parent of the first person to write a review for Dr. Wynn, I had to chime in! Everything that Paisley P. said below is true.
Living in Newport Beach, CA, we are inundated with bling-​y, tech-​y, immediate gratification gimmicks to win over our business. It was a breath of fresh air to walk into an orthodontist’s office that was run with such good values and professionalism. Instead of trying to lure us over as clients with video games in the exam chairs, Dr. Wynn and his dedicated staff won us over with education, experience, honesty, smiles, promptness, and dedication.
My daughter’s appointments were always on time. The work on her mouth was performed as gently as possible. Everything was explained to us in terms that we could understand and never rushed. In the event of an emergency, they were extremely helpful. They worked around our crazy schedule, facilitated rush orders of snapped retainers, and even came in on days off to help us if we needed it (we did not take advantage of them, but stuff happens!)
I cannot say enough about Dr. Wynn and his staff! 500+ stars!

I am honored to be the first person to review Dr. Wynn!!! He and his team are really as good as it gets. Let me tell you my story to show you just how amazing the group is.
I started the braces phase when I was in the seventh grade. We had gone to many other orthos before seeing Dr. Wynn but his practice was the right fit. Everywhere we went, we were greeted with all these fancy techy tools, a receptionist selling us packages and programs, describing problems in my face in pictures of me that were clearly purposefully disproportionate, and nothing that seemed to be invested in my journey or getting me in and out of braces as smoothly as possible. But then we came to Dr. Wynn.
I was referred to Dr. Wynn by a friend who was in a very similar position that I was and was having a great experience with him. In the seventh grade, I was told that, in order for me to get braces, I would need to get six baby teeth pulled. On top of that, I had missing adult teeth and would one day need a pair of implants, but I couldn’t do that until I was at least 17 and fully grown. I was in for a complicated and terrifying ride for a girl who was scared of needles and has low pain tolerance.
Instead of an assistant/​receptionist talking to us about his practice, Dr. Wynn personally took the time to review my materials and discuss what he thought we should start with. Although the circumstances were not the best, he made me feel comfortable in the office and made sure we knew that he would do everything he could to make the process as easy as possible. There were no gimmicks, no fancy tech to show off, no fluff. They were there to give us the best and nothing else.
Every time I’ve come into the office Dr. Wynn and his staff have been extremely kind and patient. They understand that braces are painful and try to be as accommodating as possible. Dr Wynn also comes in on holidays to see patients who are away at college or boarding school, like myself. They make sure you get in and make the time to do it. I don’t know of many doctors who do that.
Speaking of boarding school, Dr Wynn personalized my braces schedule around the fact that I would be gone most of the year, and gave me an excellent sub in my new home to go to in emergencies. Very helpful.
The front desk ladies are awesome too. They are very sweet and totally on top of their work. They will do everything they can to squeeze you in and even will put you in after hours!
Today I went in there for possibly the last time in a very long time, maybe ever. It was definitely bitter sweet. I had to go in because my retainer snapped. That had nothing to do with the product though– I have had these for a while! They got me in asap, gave me an impression, and I had my new gear in 2 days time. Perfection.
I really can’t say enough about Dr Wynn and the office. They really are «wynners» and I wouldn’t tell you to go anywhere else. Thank you, Dr. Wynn!
