Steven Dreyer, DC has been practicing Chiropractic for 28 years. He is a Board Certified Chiropractic Orthopedist, a distinction held by only 800 out 72,000 licensed Chiropractors in the US. He is also a Fellow of the Academy of Chiropractic Orthopedists. He specializes in the treatment of acute and chronic spinal injuries, sports injuries as well as work related injuries. He has been providing custom casted foot orthotics for the treatment of foot pain from plantar fascitis, ankle sprains, knee, hip and back pain. Dr. Dreyer is certified as an an Injury Prevention Specialist and works with fortune 500 companies in reducing work place injuries. He is also a specialist in Functional Medicine and utilizes Nutritional therapies for weight loss, wellness, injury recovery and athletics, with extensive one on one consultations available and including the coordination of functional laboratory testing. Dr. Dreyer is also certified as a specialist in the treatment of TMJ Disorders. Dr. Dreyer will teach you how to live a life of Vitality.

Established in 1987.

Dr. Dreyer began practicing Chiropractic in 1987. He has practiced for 23 of his 25+ years of practice in the Newport –Mesa area. In 1996, he joined Newport Spine and Sport, where he continues to practice today.

Dr. Dreyer was born and raised in Corona del Mar, CA. He graduated from Corona del Mar H.S. in 1981. Attended Chiropractic School at Los Angeles College of Chiropractic in Whittier, CA and graduated in Dec. of 1987. He has two daughters Lindsay and Lauren. He enjoys a very active lifestyle, with all winter and summer sports. He continues to live in Newport Beach.

Following the recommendation of my neurologist after a car accident, I sought out a chiropractor. Thanks Unilocal for helping me make my decision to see Dr. Dreyer. Following a thorough exam of reflexes and range of motion, my first adjustment helped my head pain tremendously. My pain was lessened more than I could have ever expected. I will continue treatments to relieve pain and stiffness in my neck and back.
Experience and education count. Dr. Dreyer is the best.

Dr. Dreyer is a life saver! My boyfriend hurt his lower back at football practice late one afternoon, so we were stuck frantically searching for a Chiropractor that could get him in that evening. Dr. Dreyer was so kind and stayed late (after office hours) to make sure my boyfriend wouldn’t spend the night in pain. He helped him make a full recovery so he could get back to football as quickly and safely as possible (he is SO knowledgable)! I’ve copied my boyfriend and am now a patient of Dr. Dreyer as well. I have nothing but positive things to say about him. Highly recommend.

After a long weekend of sitting while at a work conference, upon getting home I strained my neck in the evening. It was incredibly painful, I could barely turn it, and I knew I needed to see someone quickly.
I found Dr. Dreyer on Unilocal and he got me into the office right away. He immediately reduced my pain using a variety of modalities including massage, chiropractic adjustments, heat, and more. After being adjusted, I felt SO much better.
As an athlete himself, I appreciated Dr. Dreyer’s focus on getting me better quickly so I could perform during my day, as well as his practical advice on how to avoid a similar injury in the future.
I strongly recommend Dr. Dreyer to anyone who is facing a physical challenge. I know that after this experience, I’ll be seeing him regularly to make sure I stay in optimal condition, rather than calling in urgently due to an injury!

The last place I wanted to ever visit was a chiropractor. I was skeptical and frankly afraid of having anything «popped» back into place. Until, I had a rib slip last week! I could literally feel it and after the x-​ray confirmed it and I was told my options were to wait and see if it got better on it’s own (and it likely wouldn’t) or just go fix it, I opted to give the dreaded adjustment a try. I had spent a week with knife-​like stabbing pain in my side every time I twisted, coughed or laughed. So I went to the highly recommended Dr. Dreyer. He took his time explaining what was going on and making sure I felt comfortable and answered my million questions. I never felt like he was in a hurry like I often feel when visiting a doctor. After putting heat and some electrical stim on my back, he walked me through the simple, conservative maneuver he would be doing to pop my rib back into place. And then he did it. Seriously miraculous, it took 1 second, I felt no discomfort at all and like magic, my pain was gone. My rib back in. Life was good again. I turned to Dr. Dreyer and said «THAT was it?», he said yes, that was it. I wanted to write a review because to someone who viewed chiropractors as a last resort, I have completely changed my mind. In addition, Dr. Dreyer basically explained how with just a few visits I would be off and likely not need to return. He explained what I can do on my own daily to keep my posture aligned so that I can be pain free. I had always heard that once you went to a chiropractor, you had to keep going for life. Not here. I like the patient education, empowerment and of course knowing who I would go to if anything ever «pops» out again!
I would recommend Dr. Dreyer to anyone, you can’t get a more comfortable environment and immediate amazing results like this everyday. Thanks doc! I’m off to get some bbq ribs now!
