One Bark Avenue

I never have had to say anything bad about any business until today. The One Bark Avenue came to my house today to bathe my 2 dogs (one is 2 pounds which is Roxy and the other is 4 pounds and her name is Tinkerbell) and i am shocked at the horrible attitude she had seems upon arrival. She stated it was because i was questioning her ability and that she had been doing this for 20 years, but if you are a new client of course you want to ask questions and see the mobile unit that your dogs will bathed in. I am not questioning someone’s ability by asking simple questions, but i have to say when someone right off the bat is so defensive now i am glad i did. Roxy is a rescue and is only 2 pounds and has had very serious health issues and finally seems to be doing better and i wanted to do this every month now since she is better because with Primp my Pet she had such an amazing experience and was so happy that i thought this would make her even better and i would do anything for our 2 dogs and spend anything to make them happy. There was dog hair all over the floor of the unit and i get she stated she had just came from another dog cut but it only takes a minute to tidy your place up. But her seriously bad attitude as a first time customer where i was referred to from Primp my Pet (Love PRIMP MY PET MISS THEM!!) is a huge issue and makes me then wonder how she is going to treat my dogs. In the end i took my dogs from her and did not let her go forward as it worries me what would have happened. I can wash my own dogs that is not the issue, it is supposed to be an enjoyable experience from the dogs, not someone who says right off the bat this will not take long at at, i can wash them in the sink the same way and do not need to spend money for a bath/​experience like that. I would never ever refer anyone to them and if you go to them i hope she learns that you should make your clients feel good and not be so defensive. I took my dogs and did not let her bathe them as if i did i am sure it would have ended up in a lawsuit. I work at a law firm and seriously i just saw the writing on the wall with her as we tell our clients every day, sometimes straight from the beginning of an intro to a business that you are having services done with you can already see the business /​service is going to be bad… bad part is i am sorry that it did not work out.

My dogs are both very nervous about getting groomed and I’m picky about the way their hair is cut. Both dogs looked so cute after their appts and seemed much less traumatized than normal. 5 stars all the way!

5 stars for the dog groomer. Neg 3 stars for the management. Why does someone think if you nickel and dime a new customer or have a bad attitude that customer will come back? So unprofessional!

I had my doggy groomed today for the first time by Katherine at One bark avenue mobile grooming. He was sooo over grown and it was no match for Katherine. They came to our apartment community in Irvine, and started on time. My doggy met her and was instantly not afraid. He did very well. We got the special price of $ 75.00 and my doggy is a mini poodle. I would definitely recommend anyone to try this mobile grooming.
I loved how my dog was treated. He wasn’t nervous going or coming from the groomer which set me at ease because he is 11 years old. I now will have a permanent groomer and know that «Buddy» will be properly cared for while he’s in their hands. He is so handsome and so soft, still smells good. I trust this groomer.

Just had Lucky get his personal grooming on with Katherine at One Bark Ave… she has been grooming Lucky for years and is SO wonderful with him. I think Lucky liked the personal service and mellow setting away from other dogs. I have never used a grooming service before but am now hooked. Van was spotless and not having to worry about bringing Lucky to and from the vet or retail groomer is SO nice! Happy to spread the word for this company! Thank you!

Without Katherine grooming for them they don’t have amy one that can groom like her and be so kind to the animals.
