At Olivieri Chiropractic, we offer corrective and maintenance chiropractic care. We use posture analysis, surface EMG and thermography to detect, and then correct nerve pressure caused by vertebral subluxations. There are 24 bones in the spine, and a misalignment of any of these bones isn’t necessarily a problem, until that misalignment puts pressure on the spinal nerves. These nerves control all the body’s functions.

We care for families of all ages and have special training in caring for prenatal and pediatric cases along with sports injuries. In addition, our office is a complete wellness center offering massage therapy, K-​Laser cold laser therapy, and the Ideal Protein Weight Loss program.

Established in 2006.

Founded in 2006, Olivieri Chiropractic offers the residents of Newport Beach and the surrounding communities gentle chiropractic care. The complete wellness center has expanded to offer corrective and maintenance chiropractic care, massage therapy, and the Ideal Protein weight loss program.

Many OBGYNs refer to Dr. Olivieri because of her prenatal chiropractic specialty. The office also offers prenatal massage therapy.

We accept most PPO & HMO insurances including Blue Shield, Anthem, Aetna, Cigna, United Healthcare, American Specialty Health (ASH) and Aflac Injury Plans.

Dr. Tara Olivieri seeks to improve her chiropractic patients’ health and wellness in all areas of their lives. Dr. Olivieri likes to treat the «whole person» in her work as a chiropractor, which means looking for the underlying causes of disease, discomfort, and pain, which usually arise from imbalances in the spinal column. Under Dr. Olivieri’s supervision and care, patients report higher functioning in all areas of their lives.

Dr. Olivieri received her undergraduate degree from UCLA and her doctorate in chiropractic from SCU. She has been a competitive swimmer for over 25 years and currently swims with Nova Masters in Irvine and takes care of a variety of athletes using various techniques. Dr. Olivieri also holds a Certificate in Pediatric Chiropractic and has adjusted many babies & kids throughout her career with a modified gentle light force technique. Along with Pediatric Chiropractic, she is certified in the Webster Technique, and has worked with many women during pregnancy

I love the care I receive at Olivieri Chiropractic. Dr. Olivieri adjusts well and without pain, unlike some other chiropractors I have been to. Alicia in the office is so friendly and helpful. You can even set up an appointment by text, super easy. Samantha, their massage therapist, has given me some of my favorite massages ever. Their practice is about complete wellness, which I like. I haven’t used their supplement/​dietary services but it’s nice that they offer that. They specialize in pre and postnatal care and child adjustments which is amazing. I started going while pregnant and was hooked from the attentive and healing care I was given. I would go more often if I lived closer. Check them out!

I had a great experience with Dr. Olivieri and her staff! I was visiting from out of town and needed to see a chiropractor pretty quick. I went through the Ideal Protein weight loss program here with Gillian. I lost 14 pounds in my first month. And I’ve kept it off (6 months later)!! It is an easy to do, tasty, educational and encouraging program. I’ve never done a diet before but with an upcoming wedding I got inspired. I feel like I have learned much healthy habits now as well. I would highly recommend the program to anyone interested. Ask for Gillian. She’s a doll.

Dr Oliveri is AMAZING!
I first went to her after I had my 2nd child and she finally got me back into alignment.
A year later I popped out a few ribs by freak accident. She saw me immediately and I was feeling better the next day.
I like that she doesn’t pull that high pressure card that you need to come 5 times a week for forever. She is supportive, knowledgeable and strong but yet gentle at the same time.
Her staff is professional and kind. Alissa is such a pleasure to speak to (or text to) make appointments.
I have my husband going to Dr O now too and he loves her as well!
You will NOT regret your decision to come here!

I can’t speak highly enough about our experience at Olivieri Chiropractic office. We have been taking our 18 month old son to see Dr. Cassie Ferguson to help with his chronic ear infections and fluid build up in both ears in order to avoid surgery. After 9 visits we learned that one of his ears was back to being normal (fluid and infection free) and the other had shown tremendous improvement where our pediatrician was relieved and noted that what Dr. Ferguson was doing was working and to continue with chiropractic treatment. I too have had Dr. Ferguson adjust me and she is the best chiropractor I have had work on me. She has a great approach with my son and has even gone the extra mile to sing to him when he is squirmy or nervous.
The office space is comfortable and peaceful, Alicia (who manages schedule, insurance, front desk responsibilities, etc) is warm, kind, friendly, and helpful, and Dr. Olivieri is also very inviting and nice.
For those interested, here is why we felt chiropractic care was in the best interest of our son. For 3 months he had continuous bacterial and viral ear infections and was prescribed 3 antibiotics. Basically as soon as he finished a round of antibiotics his infection would return. Fluid remained in his ears and he couldn’t quite get over the cough he had (which subsided after 4 adjustments with Dr. Ferguson). In doing research, we learned that when children under 3 undergo general anesthesia for procedures such as having «tubes» put in, they have an 87% chance of having speaking and learning disorders and are 70% more likely to have cognitive problems at age 10. We were highly motivated to avoid surgery for our little guy at any cost. We can now say that we definitely made the right choice. There is some research out there that demonstrates an 80% decrease in chronic otitis media (ear infection) when under the care of a chiropractor. If you have similar concerns call their office!

She is extremely knowledgeable and experienced, especially in the areas of pregnant expectant moms and kids! Alicia, is also extremely experienced and friendly to every patient. Dr. Olivieri is great. I went in for upper back pain and she spent a good amount of time with me explaining what and why she was doing the tests she was. Her adjustments were quick and felt great. I really appreciated that the front office has a place for kids to sit and play with toys. The girls that work in the office are so accommodating. I love this office and will definitely be back.

Dr. Olivieri is awesome! She has been a friend of mine for a number of years. One day my parents were out visiting me and my family. My dad has had a bad back for years and he unfortunately did something to it a few hours before he was to drive back to phoenix. He was having enough trouble walking let alone sitting in a car for 6 hours. I called Dr. Olivieri’s practice, but they were closed since it was a Sunday. The amazing thing about her is that she called us back about 30 minutes later and she came into see see my dad. Not only was he able to drive back to Phoenix, he said his back felt a ton better. Thanks Dr. Olivieri for fixing my dad!

Dr. Olivieri is one of the kindest and skilled chiropractors out there! She gave me an incredible adjustment that has drastically improved my posture after just one visit. It also helped that I had a great massage prior to the adjustment that really relaxed and loosened my muscles. The whole team is amazing. Our whole family enjoys coming here. Welcoming us at the door is Alicia who also doubles as a child whisperer, whom my daughter enjoys while I get treatment.
For our 2nd pregnancy, the doctor helped us keep the baby in the proper position as well as relieve back strains. She was able to adjust my upper back when other chiropractors had difficulty & called me «the brick.»
We also take advantage of the magic hands of massage therapist, Miriam which we highly recommend for anyone pregnant or not.
To prepare for the birth we took the Hypnobabies course taught by Dr. Tara that was essential to relaxing through the birth. Even after our successful VBAC home birth, the wonderful doctor made a home visit to adjust the whole family including our newest bundle of joy at 1 week old, which improved her breast feeding & digestion. It also helped this Momma feel human again after 30 hrs of birthing & the constant looking down of breast feeding.
We are so grateful to everyone for helping to care for our bodies. This is a wonderful family practice specializing in the care of pregnant woman.

Dr. Olivieri is a very skilled and personable chiropractor. You really feel like you are her only concern while you are in her office. She takes plenty of time listening to patient’s concerns and you never feel rushed. We took our 9 month old son to see her because he had been sleeping poorly for a number of months, waking up every couple of hours and we were exhausted. Someone suggested we try chiropractic for him. After 3 visits, our son started sleeping better! She is SO good with babies! Even though he cried pretty hard because he was handled by a stranger, she was patient and understanding and would first try to connect with him by playing with him a little to get him used to her. At the fourth visit, he hardly whimpered and even gave her a few smiles!
I also went to Dr. Homa Hamidi, the acupuncturist, when I was pregnant with my son earlier this year to see if she could help me get labor going because I was a little past my due date. What do you know, I had an appointment with her in the morning and by dinner I was in labor! My session with her was my first ever acupuncture session, so I was a little nervous, but she explained what she was doing and the first few needles really did make me feel nice and relaxed! I would definitely recommend Dr. Hamidi as well.

My experiences with Dr. Olivieri just get better and better. I had a slight dislocation with my Acromion clavicle joint (shoulder) and inflammation in my bicep tendon. I went to my primary physician and he just gave me a bunch of drugs and said rest it and sent me on my way. I wasn’t able to make my chiropractic appointment that day due to my Doctor appointment so I mentioned it Dr. Olivieri assistant about my shoulder and she said «come in when you can and we’ll help with your shoulder.» So I came in and they… and they were very concerned with my shoulder. They did ultra sound on my shoulder and e-​stim therapy. She has also been taping it with kinesiology tape every few visits. The first time I went in, I couldn’t lift my arm to start my car. Few days later my shoulder is healing faster than ever.
I cannot tell anyone enough… she cares. She absolutely cares. Her whole staff does. She wants to fix your issues. You’re not just in and out… they take their time with the therapy and listening to you. Her and her staff have been a blessing to me. I am so happy beyond belief that I found Dr. Olivieri.

I originally met with Dr. Olivieri when she worked at «that other place» in Lake Forest. During her tenure there, she was the only Chiropractor I would see as the others available were never as friendly, caring or diligent in their work. Once Dr. Olivier left and opened her own practice I said «I’m In!» and now drive from Lake Forest out to Fashion Island to see her.
The front office person, Alicia is always friendly and remembers me when I call. I have a pretty hectic schedule and she always tries to make coming in as easy as possible for me.

I found out about Dr. Olivieri through a Groupon purchase. I went in for an initial consultation and had a great first impression: great location in Newport by Fashion Island, cozy office, VERY friendly receptionist (Alicia), they offered hot tea and organic fruit for patients to enjoy, and they had comfy couches to wait for your turn.
Dr. Olivieri adjusted me on my second visit (as part of the Groupon deal and I also had a massage scheduled). I LOVED my adjustment. I was about 8 months pregnant at the time and she was gentle yet confident with her manipulation, and she also had this cool adjusting table that stood completely upright and gently brought me face down and flat (which makes it easy on a pregnant lady!).
After, I got an hour massage from Miriam who is EPIC. She has such amazing technique — certified in Shiatsu — and her hands are truly healing. I loved the massage so much I’ve already brought both my parents to see her and I’ve had two of my own (and planning on more). What I loved is that she has the pregnancy pillow so I could lay face down very comfortably while she massaged me. Not a lot of places have those!
Overall great experience and I would definitely recommend this place to anyone.
