I was looking for the right place for laser hair removal and finally found this gem. After weeks of searching I came upon Modern Beauty Med Spa and am so happy I did. Ramona explained the process to me and answered all of my questions. I have fair skin with dark hair so I am the perfect candidate for laser hair removal but am so careful when it comes to anything to do with a laser. After one treatment I have seen amazing results. I’m down to shaving once a week and barely need to do that. Every time I shower I’m truly amazed at how little hair growth I have left. After one treatment!!! Her laser is one of the newest and strongest ones out there. Don’t waste your money elsewhere– Please trust me and go to this place!

I had to write a review, because when it comes to your face you have to be very cautious. Let me just say Ramona is amazing! She asks you tons of questions and listens to what YOU want. She spent a lot of time with me and I could not be more please with the results. I got botox and lip filler. In and out within an hour. I already booked my next appointment for 4 months from now. Ramona is amazing! I had Brazilian done and I made it through! No numbing cream or Advil. I had tried Brazilian in the past but couldn’t make it through. I had my legs done too and after one visit I can see the difference. I am excited! They have a great laser that is best for light skin with dark hair. Do it soon as their prices are good and you can go on groupon. I will update with results.

All of the reviews below are so accurate! I also am a huge fan of Ramona! After going to other med spas, I was looking for something more low key where I could be given the attention that I needed. She is professional, detailed and very attentive. She answered all of my questions and never made me feel uncomfortable. I initially came in for just full face but then added on armpits and full legs because I was so happy with the service and overall experience! I definitely recommend this place!

I had the best experience here yesterday! I went in for a laser hair removal — bikini line with a groupon and upgraded to a Brazilian for $ 100 while there. The nurse (I cannot remember her name but, based on other reviews, it’s Ramona) was extremely kind and handled my nervousness incredibly well. During the removal, she was very attentive and made sure to get every little hair while ensuring I did not feel uncomfortable at all. The actual laser treatment was a little uncomfortable/​mildly painful but nothing obnoxious. The pain is momentarily. Afterwards, as I was checking out she was also very open about pricing and let me know I could buy packages at Groupon rates in house as a current client. She was in no way pushy but merely being informative.
This morning I have very slight discomfort but applied a little lotion and alleviated all pain. I will have no hesitation going back for my follow up appointments. It was a really nice experience and I highly recommend trying out laser hair removal here.

I’ve been to many med spas, & though many are good, it can be scary because you just never know how much they are trying to up-​sell or how skilled the practitioners will be. Well, here, in Ramona’s hands, there are no worries! This place is excellent and she’s amazing!!! She’s 100% skilled with a needle and has a very artistic eye! She is so incredibly sweet & makes the whole process so easy and comfortable. I’ve also had laser hair removal by her, & it’s thorough, painless, and effective! I’ve referred friends and they love her too! I can’t describe how happy and grateful I am that I found Ramona and this place! If you go to Ramona, you won’t regret it!

I first came in two weeks ago for the laser hair removal special and purchased two areas… after just a week I already saw great progress/​results so I went back today to do my legs as well! Romona (the RN) is very sweet and knowledgeable. She does a great job at making you feel comfortable and ensures that the laser is doing its job without being painful. I definitely reccomend taking a look at their specials. Their prices are very competitive and they don’t try to up sell you. Definitely worth the money!

Love this med spa! The staff is super friendly. Ramona the RN is very knowledgeable. Came in originally with my daughter with a Groupon for laser hair removal. It went so well, I’ve since added additional areas for hair removal and just recently got Botox. I noticed a big difference right away with the hair removal. The laser they use works amazing! She also does a great job with the Botox. Had great results. Will definitely be back!

I really enjoyed my visit at the Modern Beauty Med Spa it’s on the 2^nd floor by the way, It has a nice clean, modern look as well as awesome staff.
Ramona (the nurse) answered ALL of my questions from Laser hair removal to Botox and Juvederm, very knowledgeable sweet and patient. I ended up getting laser hair removal done on my armpits but next visit I am thinking to also add Brazilian. I felt comfortable and the pain wasn’t so bad especially with the results I already see a big difference, a lot less hair is coming back and the growth is much slower, so no need to shave as often! Yay!
Overall I give it 5 stars for: All up to date latest technology, friendly and knowledgeable staff, clean facility and easy parking.

I found this place on GroupOn and thought I would give it a shot, and I’m glad I did. I have received two sessions of laser hair removal on my legs and I already feel and see a TREMENDOUS difference. Not only is the service superb, but the place is very clean and inviting. Also, Ramona (the one that has been doing my treatments) is the best! She makes you feel so comfortable. I have definitely found my go to place. And best of all, this laser is less painful than others that I have tried! Definitely recommend, I promise you won’t be disappointed, and that you will be going back for more (as am I).

When it comes to laser hair removal I did a lot of research. I came across Modern Beauty Med Spa and spoke with Ramona the RN nurse covering all my questions and concerns I had.
As I walked in for the first time I felt so welcomed and everything looked so clean and spotless. Ramona is very professional and sweet. She makes you feel comfortable every step of the way. I saw a difference from just my first treatment and now on my fourth, seeing a even bigger difference. My only regret is I should have got started long ago!

I stumbled upon this hidden gem in Newport Beach. At first I was apprehensive, as I am with most new places. Let’s face it, your first time at a medspa can be daunting.
Modern Beauty Medspa is so amazing, I can’t rave enough about them. The spa is beautiful & serene.
Ramona, a registered nurse, did my treatments. She’s warm, welcoming & had me at ease, which wasn’t easy since I was having anxiety.
I went in for laser hair removal & felt so comfortable that I tried Botox for the first time! I was so nervous but it wasn’t nearly as bad as I thought it would be. For me it wasn’t just about getting it done, but really about overcoming a fear & having someone reassuring beside me for support.
My frown lines had me looking like I was angry all the time. I wanted to look fresh & not fake, & happy, not angry. If you’re thinking of doing any of these things, go to this place & tell all your friends about it. I want everyone to have the great experience I had.

Can not say enough good things about this place and Ramona specially. I came to get my laser touch ups done as i moved from NY and needed to find local place for that. I booked 15 min and was assuming that we only will be able to to finish my bikini and underarm, but she was very efficient that we did my lower legs also! great, thorough job too. I ended up doing Botox with her as well and the price was VERY good as well as a result.

This is my third experience with laser hair removal service with Ramona. I must say, she is an angel! She was nothing short of amazing. She is very patient with all my questions and never rushed me. I love this place and you can’t beat the laser prices! Romona is extremly knowlegable about lasers, and super thorough during my treatments. The laser she uses is AMAZING! This is the first time I have seen such a difference and it is because she uses an, Alexandrite laser for a hair removal machine. I am so glad I found this gem and can’t wait until my next treatment.

I am so in love with that place, went there twice have four more times to go for my hair laser removal. I could see results right away! So happy with the service and customer care, Ramona such a sweet heart. I start my hair removal treatment before my pregnancy at different place for couple times but then needed to cut it off and I never went back after birth cause I didn’t see any changes my hair was still growing back not sure if it had to do something with my pregnancy. Like I said I am super happy I found that spa, I started with my bikini and then added my legs. It’s been a month and only couple hair show up on my legs now I can say I have silky smooth legs. :)
