I had my boobs done two years ago. I was 5’9″ 145lbs 29yrs old. Very flat. A cup if that! I got 450 CCs in each. I have a full C small D, which is hard to believe because I don’t look big at all. Like nobody knew I jumped to a D cup. He recommended the 450 instead of 400. He was right. I am totally happy with the results. The only thing I would have done differently is I would have went for the arm pit cut. My scars on my boobs look awful when I’m naked. :-/

I had an AMAZING experience with Dr. Ambe! His knowledge and work is immeasurable. His office staff was kind and helpful during my appointments. I high recommend!

Ok, so here’s an update: I decided not to use Dr. Ambe again for my third breast surgery. I don’t feel Dr. Ambe’s solution to fixing capsular contractor is sufficient. I have done a lot of research, and interviewed several doctors all over southern California. I found that the only solution to stopping capsular contractor from coming back, is to completely remove all infected tissue around the implant, and to remove and get rid of the infected implants, replace with new implants, and to use a product called Stratice to ensure the capsular contracture will never come back. Its 99.9% chance with Stratice, the capsular contracture will never come back. Dr. Ambe only breaks the capsule, and that is proven to not be an effective way of stopping capsular contracture. I like Dr. Ambe, and think he’s a great plastic surgeon, I would recommend him for amazing natural looking implants. But I think he isn’t knowledgeable about capsular contractor. So, on my search for a dr. that knows about capsular contractor, I found Dr. Park! He is a dr. in Upland, CA. He specializes in reconstruction, and capsular contractor. My appointment is November 2^nd and in so excited to put the past 5yrs of living in pain with capsular contractor behind me.
*Also, in my research I found: studies are starting to show that capsular contractor is caused by a bacteria entering your body during surgery. There is no way to stop this bacteria. You have to completely remove all infected tissue, and implants.
***Do your research ladies! Interview several Dr’s. This is your body, your money, your life!

Dr. Ambe’s staff is absolutely horrible. I was 15 min late to my appt because I was trying to find their office, so they cancelled the appt I had just waited a month for. While I was trying to find their office, I was on the phone with them (and had called at least three times prior trying To find this seemingly non existent building)…POINT IS… I had been in touch with them the whole time… And each time I called, they still kept giving me the directions to get to their office… but when I get there (only 15 min late) they can not see me. This is not how you treat clients, especially clients that you make wait so very long for a simple consultation. They told me they could reschedule me… And the earliest time would be… Yup, you guessed it. ANOTHER MONTH LATER! So understandably, I got upset. The office staff was so overdramatic that they called the police on me, which is dedicatedly a first for me… what a horrible experience. The doctor is not flexible with his clients at all because, after all, I had only been 15 min late and had waited over a month to see him. The staff had told me that everyone gets lost on their way to the office, so a little understanding would have gone a long way. Good luck to anyone pursuing this doctor and his staff and WATCH OUT FOR THE DITZY BLONDE GIRL WITH THE BAD HAIR IN THE OFFICE (I BELIEVE SHE IS THE OFFICE MANAGER). SHE IS ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE!!!

I had an AMAZING experience with Dr. Ambe. Him and his whole staff are very welcoming and friendly. I had a breast augmentation. I wanted it to look natural yet full for my small frame and he was extremely honest of what was too big and just right. I had two consultations then surgery.
He checked in with me both before and after my surgery. I had a nurse waiting by my bed from the moment I finished surgery to wheeling me out to the car. This was my first time going under and when I woke up I guess I tried to roll over then started crying… The nurse was sososo nice and instantly calmed me down and brought my mom in when I asked for her.
I went to the office the day after the surgery and was seen by the female nurse & Dr. Ambe and they answered all my recovery questions. I am on my second day of recovery and in far less pain than I ever expected (NEVER watch Youtube videos) and no bruising. I would recommend him to everyone!
People complain about wait times… I never had a 1 – 2 hour wait that others complained of. I did have a short wait my first consultation before I saw Dr. Ambe but there was a nice lady who came in to chat and get a better understanding of what I was looking for and explained the Dr’s methods. At least a wait means your doctor is in demand! I would be concerned if there was an empty office and I didn’t have a little wait.

I wanted to refresh my review here on Unilocal of the Rhytidectomy and Blepharoplasty work I had done by Dr. Ambe, since it’s been exactly 1 year since my surgery. I am still absolutely thrilled with the results Dr. Ambe’s work gave me and I feel fantastic! I’ve never felt better about the way I look and as a result I’ve maintained a healthy diet and exercise routine that has made me even stronger and happier. When I look back at this past year I still giggle to know that my eyes and neck are as tight and youthful looking as the first few months after my surgery. Everything Dr. Ambe taught me about caring for my skin and what results to expect have been exactly what I’ve experienced… I’m so glad I chose him as my Plastic Surgeon! My life is great and I’m so blessed!

I had two children back to back (breastfed both) and thus my breasts were deflated and my belly skin hanging. I went to Dr Ambe for a tummy tuck and breast augmentation and I could not be more pleased with the results. I went from an ‘a’ cup to a medium/​full ‘c’ and my breasts look amazingly natural, far exceeding my expectations. The tummy tuck was just as incredible, it has not been as flat since I was in my early 20’s and the scar is fading away with each month that passes. Dr Ambe understands the female body and is a true expert In his craft, he is really an artist. In addition, he is very pleasant and makes you feel comfortable throughout the process. Also, every single person in his staff is lovely and very responsive to your needs. In sum, I feel that not one penny was overpaid given the exceptional results and overall wonderful experience.

Aesthetician Megan Morris recommended Dr. Ambe’s skin care line a few weeks back and so glad she did and would recommend to anyone. The green tea cleanser and porcelain night cream are my favorites! Thanks Megan for taking care of my skin!

Good doctor. Very friendly & nice. Unfortunately the front office staff and wait time in the office are not great. Waitng 1 – 2 hours to see the doctor is a bit extreme and unfair to the patients. The girls in the reception area are not welcoming and friendly. They seem annoyed if you ask questions. Not sure if it’s worth going back.

Dr. Ambe was recommended to me by one of my friends. I met him in 2005 and had a consultation on my procedure. I liked his professional attitude. I am not very demanding, so I had very few requests. My requests were 1) The procedure would not be harmful to my health 2) to be able to nurse after breast augmentation 3) the size of the breast would not interfere with my work and not effect my posture 4) quickest recovery possible so I could return to work (I need to use my arms for my work). The rest I left in his hands to decide and do, as he is the one with the experience and the medical knowledge.
Nine years later I can tell you not only all four request were met in after surgery, I am still very happy with the results and would highly recommend him as a knowledgeable surgeon.

I absolutely love Dr. Ambe! I got my 3^rd breast augmentation a year and a half ago and i couldn’t be happier! I would recommend Dr. Ambe to anyone, and will for sure be coming back to him!

Dr. Ambe is great and his staff is friendly. The wait time is ridiculously long. We have waited a minimum of 30min past the appt time every visit. Also, they don’t call you to confirm your appointment which is odd. Make your appt on a day that you have no plans or any where to be after because you’ll be waiting and waiting…
Update: it’s been a solid hour now and no sign of seeing the dr for a follow up.

I must say I have not experienced all the wonderful things these women have mentioned about Dr Ambe. The proximity of my breasts turned out quite unnatural and I cannot use triangle bikini tops anymore. The scars are very large and even my boyfriend mentioned my scars are the biggest he has seem with breast implants. I have ripples in between my breasts, which I understand is a risk with thin frames. Besides all that, be prepared to wait and pay a lot of money, which I believe it was not worth it ;(

Great facility. Consultation was free and I received good information for my skin. Would recommend for Botox or any other skin care procedures.

Well here it is again, and again, and again if it keeps getting deleted…
If you’re not one of the OC elite, you will be ignored, forgotten, and treated like a pariah. Each time i had an appointment with doctor ambe, his nurses (stuck up b#@^#‘s) called to cancel or re-​schedule. When I finally got in to see him, he kept me waiting for at least an hour over my scheduled appointment time EACH TIME (6 appointments total). He did my breasts which immediately re-​encapsulated and had to be re-​done elsewhere. You deserve better.

Dr. Ambe is the best! It took me about 9 years to finally commit to having a breast augmentation. I did a lot of research and I went to several different doctors. I’m so glad I made that decision. He was very thorough and very informative. He was patient and understood what it was that I wanted. He promised me that there would be no bruising and I was skeptical, but when It was all said and done, I had no bruising! The day of surgery I was not nervous at all I just felt confident in his and his staff. I had absolutely no issues with my surgery and I would do it all over again if I had to. I had surgery on a Friday and I was off my pain meds on Sunday until it was bedtime. I only took them so I could sleep comfortably at night before a full week of school. Yes the waits for follow up appointments are long even when you’ve made an appointment, but it’s worth it and his staff is amazing! Go to Dr. Ambe! You won’t regret it!

I reviewed Dr. Ambe 2 weeks after my surgery. It’s been 7 months. I still stand behind my original review. I highly recommend Dr. Ambe. I was treated wonderfully even weeks/​months after my surgery and all my questions have been answered very expeditiously. Dr. Ambe is very thorough and answers all your questions in his initial consult as well as at follow-​ups after. His staff support is fantastic. I have been back to the office several times and had botox injections and would definitely recommend Dr. Ambe and all the staff he employs for any service to be done in his office. You do not need to drive to LA to get the best plastic surgeon! He is right here in Orange County! Read his bio and make an appointment!

Dr. Ambe did a phenomenal job on my breast augmentation! My boobs look so natural that when I told friends I had my breasts augmented they were shocked. I used to be a full b cup and now I am a full D cup. I feel so much more confident. It has been a few years since my surgery and I am still so happy about the results. I don’t understand Dr. Ambe’s low reviews on Unilocal other than the wait time because I can understand that. If I were you I would still consider Dr. Ambe for your procedure. His staff are also very nice and make you feel comfortable. My cousin also had her breasts done by Dr. Ambe and they look amazing. I highly recommend Dr. Ambe for your breast augmentation. If you want full, natural looking breasts this is the doctor for you.

He is a great surgeon, however his waiting time after your first initial consultation is anywhere from 1 to 3 hours and even then you don’t always see him.
I did read the reviews prior to going where people complained but I thought how bad could it be. It’s very bad. I don’t have 3 hours to be in a doctors office because his staff over schedule’s people.
After the surgery you won’t see him because he is drumming up more business and you are a loss leader now.
Very disappointing because he really is a good doctor.
