Let’s start with my initial decision to go with Marc Bui at iMortgage in Newport Beach California. He has been providing profession mortgage loans for 20 years. This would be my 3rd transaction with Marc Bui. He and his office staff Albert Ngo was always so helpful with getting us prepared for the required documents that were needed to process the loan.
This 3rd transaction, we had purchased a new build and there were about 5 other buyers who’s homes were release the same day and were due to close at the same time we were. It is such a great thing to have as bragging rights to be able to say we moved in before anyone due to Marc’s extreme dedication to deliver and have the loan fund first and on time (according to the builders).
For the shop itself, the iMortgage office is very nice in appearance and was very modern looking. It was great to walk into a professional setting when I had to hand Marc some documents. It was a good first impression on the building.
When buying or refinancing I am sure you think about the rates. We got a great rate from Marc. We were able to lock in the rate early in our process in case the rates went up. That saved us some money. Ask Marc if this option still is available and is applicable for you.
Does Unilocal have a 6th star to give to Marc and the iMortgage team? I’d give it to them!

With all the five star comments before mine, they may really look sort of a ‘Custom Made Job’.
However, let me assure you. In no way was I connected to Marc or had any sort of connection to his organization prior to my conversation with him about an hour ago. I randomly picked him because of all the great comments that were so prominent.
My situation was a refi that sort of died with another broker about a week ago due to being impractical as result of the type of loans I already have.
Marc could have easily given me a big song and dance, as many would have done. He didn’t. He could have strung me along and talked me into a horrific financial situation, but he didn’t.
Instead, he gave me a simple, but great option by advising me to hang on to what I already have. He pointed out how it would help me with my existing mortgage immensely by paying it down.
There aren’t that many ‘Marcs’ nowadays, but plenty of scammers and incompetent people who are just waiting to take us for a ride instead.
Now I can see why so many have given him five stars right through out. If the need arises where I need a mortgage broker he would be my first choice. As a matter of fact, I have just entered all his info into my phone.
I wish him and his staff all the best and a successful future.

Let me start off by apologizing to Marc and his team for the late review. They did an outstanding job and I can’t thank them enough.
Marc was not our first choice. We actually didn’t find Marc until after being turned off by several other lenders I won’t name but rhyme with chmase and fells wargo, among others. I am sooo glad we found Marc tho. From the moment my wife and I sat with him we felt very comfortable. He will answer any question you have and make sure you understand the process.
We closed escrow Dec 24… YES, xmas eve. As you might imagine we were nervous we wouldn’t close due to the holidays. Marc and his team were on top of it tho. They pushed hard on their end to get all documentation to escrow ahead of time. Leading up to closing week he called me with weekly updates and on the week of closing we spoke pretty much every day. I can’t emphasize enough how important it is to be able to get a hold of your lender in the last few days of escrow. Talk about stressful times. Let me apologize again for bugging him so much… we had a lot of questions. But he was great about it. And he probably won’t like me advertising this but I called him pretty late on a couple occasions and again, he took my calls. I couldn’t even get a returned call from chmase and fells wargo.
We had such a great experience with Marc and we will definitely be using him again. I wouldn’t say we’re BFF’s (yet) but I do consider him a friend. Coincidentally his daughter and my son were born a couple months apart and like proud pushy dads we exchanged a few baby pics. haha
If you’re looking for a lender do yourself a favor and contact Marc… you will not be disappointed.

When my coworker knew that I was planning to buy a new house, he referred Marc Bui to me because he just bought a new house and his loan was done by Marc not long ago .I know some loan companies, but imortgate was my choice for his great referral. The escrow process can be stressful, but Marc did make me feel confident about my loan. He helped me prepare my papers well, he kept what all his promises. There were no surprises with fees or changes like what I had experienced with other loan companies. When you find a house you love and you step in your escrow stage, you don’t want to hear the word «loan denial» or anything close to that. My loan was funded in 2 weeks.
