Welcome to Magnolia Charlie, a children’s clothing boutique on Balboa Island/​Newport Beach, California. With my love for children’s fashion, style and children I was inspired to open my 1st children’s clothing boutique in 1984 in Upland called «The Blueberry Patch». When I re-​located in 1997 to Newport Beach I opened «Magnolia Charlie» on Balboa Island. With being on a quaint little island, I opened with a nautical theme of «crabs, lobsters, sailboats and starfish». Each season I search the world over to find the latest boutique fashions and the cutest styles including the classy traditional looks as well as the chic trendy European styles. From nautical beach to beautiful smocking, and the sweetest old-​fashion looks for baby, we have it all…

What a great experience! This place is a true gem on Balboa Island. First off the customer service was great, the lady who runs the store went out of her way to help us pick out an outfit for a friends kid. The clothing was top quality and so cute! If you happen to be in the area, Magnolia Charlie is a must! (p.s, we received a receipt :))

Excellent Customer Service! I went in this Past Saturday afternoon with my mom & two year old. They have a great selection. Prices are higher than I usually like to pay for my toddlers clothing since shes growing so quickly, but they were having a great sale. Left with some great items! Thank you to the employee for friendly service & for calling her manager on the telephone to get an answer to my question about a certain pair of boots :)
