History

Established in 2011.

After spending countless hours trying to compare golf courses before deciding where to play we set out to make a site that solved this issue. Through www​.local​go​lfspots​.com you can now see the courses side by side listing the greens fees, twilight times and rates and if a cart is included in the greens fee. You are also able to read and write reviews on the course to help other players deciding where to spend their hard earned money.

I was bitten by the golf bug at the age of 18 and after moving to Southern California from Chicago I couldn’t get enough of the game. Prior to playing a round at a course I like to read reviews of those who previously played the course as well as being able to compare the course costs to others in the area. Unfortunately there weren’t any sites that combined these items and instead I was left spending a good amount of time jumping from site to site. To solve this I created www​.local​go​lfspots​.com where all these items are contained including directions to the courses and links directly to their website.
