Keep It Clean Housekeeping

DEFINITELY NOT WORTH THE MONEY! I couldn’t find this business on Unilocal before I bought the TryItLocal deal or I never would have done so.
I am having a party tomorrow, and now I have to go home and clean the house myself. Luckily, I am not a moron, and I can clean 900 sq ft in less than three hours. She spent 2.5 hours on my bedroom and bathroom, then gave the kitchen a lick and a promise. Let me repeat that: she spent the bulk of her time on the one room I could have shut the door on, and my guests wouldn’t have seen it. Unfortunately, my boyfriend was the one at home and didn’t notice that she hadn’t left any time to clean the hallway bath, and living room.
When I complained to the owner, she said she offered to sell my boyfriend more time, but since we were used to Molly Maids cleaning THE ENTIRE HOUSE, not just the first floor, in 3 hours, he declined to spend more money on more time.
Go with Molly Maids. They cost a little more, but they are worth it!

I absolutely love this service! I couldn’t get any companies to clean my house because it was so dirty. Then I talked to Andrea. She listened to exactly what I needed and had someone out two days later. My house was sparkling from top to bottom afterward.
I now have the weekly service. It is only $ 85 for a 3 bd 3 ba house where two babies and two dogs live. I am able to go to work and come to home to a clean house every time. They do such a fantastic job. They clean my flat cook top, inside the microwave, dust everything, scrub the bathrooms, vacuum to sofa, etc every time. I would recommend Keep It Clean to anyone.

I got a groupon as a gift for 3 hours of housecleaning. and was not impressed.
Scheduling was difficult to say the least. The only way to schedule is via e-​mail and it took several days to even acknowledge my request to schedule. It then took 3 weeks to schedule a date/​time that they could stick with. They scheduled and confirmed a date and then changed it, TWICE. I understand that I wanted a weekend or after 4 but was told that they did not schedule that late in the day even though their website says that the hours of operation are until 7pm. Finally got a date almost 2 months later. Part of that is my fault for not planning ahead, but I never would have thought to call 2 months in advance.
My condo is hard to find, so I e-​mailed very specific directions as to how to get to my place. Apparently these were not passed along because as I was out talking to my neighbors a woman pulled up looking for my condo saying that she had been driving around looking for my address which was why she was late.
They say that they come with everything that they need. In my case, it was everything except an all purpose cleaner and the attachments to her vacuum. Realized as I was cleaning up tonight that I did get my vacuum attachments back, but couldn’t find my almost full bottle of all surface cleaner. (Ultimately found it under the kitchen sink which is not where I keep it)
The woman was very nice and did an OK job, but my main complaint was that I had to spend an hour cleaning up after she left and she didn’t do the ONE THING that I had wanted cleaned more than anything. I told her when she started that I wanted my bedroom cleaned first, then the Kitchen and the bathroom last. She did a good job in the bedroom, moving a lot of the things that were on the floor so she could clean behind/​under them, but left several things on the bed and didn’t put things back where she found them including my nightstand, rolling drawers and the bottles on top of the dresser.
She cleaned from the bottom up which was a disaster. My ceiling and fan were so dusty that when she got to them everything else was clean so when she blasted the fan with her steam cleaner (Which was so AWESOME that I went on-​line and bought one shortly after she left) it threw dust all over the room. I got a spare sheet and put it on the bed to keep the dust off, but she didn’t want to dirty everything that she spent the last 45 minutes cleaning dirty. Now there are clean streaks on my dusty ceiling that make it look worse than before she started.
I told her that I just wanted the 3 rooms cleaned, but she insisted on cleaning the dining room floor and some shelves. Most people would that that was great, but I had to remove everything from the shelves, move the table and other things that were in my dining area so that she could clean, even though I told her she didn’t have to.
After she left, I was putting things in my kitchen away the way I like them and found sticky something under the toaster, the crumb tray for the toaster dirty, 2 cheerios on the floor and other misc crumbs.
I do have to say that it was motivation for me to clean a lot of the clutter around my house and once I did the touch up my kitchen hasn’t looked this good in a long time, but I do not think that I would have her back again.

Not worth the money!
We purchased a Groupon for 3 hours of cleaning, and we were severely disappointed. When I came home and opened the front door, I immediately saw that the hardwood floors were still pretty dirty, there were spots everywhere. This had been the one area I had stressed that she do well because we have a dog and a little baby who is now crawling, so I like to make sure the floors are always spotless. Upon further inspection, I found that she didn’t move anything to dust or clean. There was dirt and dust under the breadbox, under the coffee pot, etc. In both of our showers there was still dried up cleaner that hadn’t been rinsed off.
The whole experience was way below satisfactory. I emailed Andrea and she simply said that if we had purchased more hours that the cleaner would have been able to do a better job. We live in a tiny 2 bedroom condo, and have had cleaning professionals before that were able to do an exceptional job in 3 hours, so if time was the problem then it was due to poor time management.
It was absolutely clear that they were not trying to make a good impression, which is unfortunate if they are looking to gain new clients from this deal.
DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS SERVICE!

It was fine getting the appointment, but the cleaners did not do a quality job. ONLY have them clean if you are home, so you can make sure they do a good job. They did not even clean the floors at all. The job they did was the same quality as my kids in elementary school. They did clean the stove well, but the sinks, mirrors, shower doors looked like it had a quick once over, not really cleaned. The microwave was not cleaned. The vacuum they used must be broken, because nothing was picked up. They did not dust some areas, and I was very disappointed. When I emailed the owner and described the problem in detail, and asked for either half my money back, or they come back when I am home, she refused. She said it must have needed a deep cleaning, as justification. The house was cleaned 3 weeks ago. I used them with Groupon, and would use them ONLY if you are there, for the discount. I would not use them again.

What a disappointment !!!
I asked Joy to clean the kitchen first, refrigerator (only the frig side), the cupboard doors, etc and if time to do the bedroom next to the kitchen, especially removing the sliding storage under the bed. I have only Pergo floors which only need slight upkeep.
My whole house is only 900sq.ft.(half of that is upstairs which I never asked her to clean and half of that is the living room and dining room) THe kitchen is MAYBE 3ft x 6ft and that is generous. When I got home 3 hours later she told me what she had done and the kitchen looked clean at a glance because everything had been moved and wiped down and looked great. My kitchen is 3ft x 6ft.
the top of the frig was not cleaned
the water dispenser and front of the frig was not cleaned
the microwave was cleaned on the outside BUT NOT THE INSIDE. There were still crumbs on the glass tray and floor of the microwave and splashes on the inside of the door.
the toaster oven foil was changed (or cleaned off) but no other crumbs were removed and the door was not cleaned on either the inside or outside.
the cupboard doors were wiped around the knobs but not on the inside like under the sink where water drips.
she said that she moved everything under the bed and did the floor but never touched each side of the bed where I found thick dust.
What did she do for 3 hours? Could that have taken 3 hours?

I used the groupon for this service. $ 49 for two cleaners for 1 ½ hours. I asked them to do my kitchen and two baths with no dusting. They were fine for the groupon price. I got the definite impression that they are booked solid because of the groupon, and I was a little worried that the cleaners would be cranky, but they weren’t. They were both men and totally normal.
The good:
They did a great job on the sliding door tracks, which was the one thing I pointed out to them in the kitchen.
My laminate floor looked new when they left.
Kitchen sink looked great.
THey did a good job on the toilets. Sparkly.
One guy spoke english.
The OK, but I could have done it the same myself:
The kitchen looked good — surfaces, stovetop all fine. They couldn’t remove the stains from my stovetop (I can’t either).
They mopped my entry on the way out — a bonus I didn’t ask for.
Bathtub OK, but nothing was moved so still dirty under shampoo, etc.
Like every other maid service I’ve tried — they didn’t mop or clean the corners/​edges of the tile floors. WHY?! I know it’s a pain, that’s why I want to pay you to do it!

I’m pretty sure they threw away more trash in our cans than came out of my house. Hmm.
They used a vaccuum on my tile and didn’t sweep. That’s just weird unless you have a special vaccuum. They didn’t
They mopped around things instead of moving them.
They didn’t mop under the dining table. I could tell because they didn’t sweep it either.
They didn’t clean one of the showers, just wiped off the soap shelf.
Overall, their regular price is way too high. I’ve had services come for about $ 80 and do the whole house. The level of cleaning isn’t professional, but they use strong products that get the job done. The smell of the products, by the way, is super strong. My husband loves that smell because of his whacky mom, but they give me a headache. If you’re sensitive and want to try this company have them use your products.

Definitely worth it with the Groupon ($ 98 + tip for 2 maids for 3 hours), but I would not pay regular price. Regular price (for my house) would have been $ 180 + tip, totaling over $ 200.
The maids were very pleasant and efficient. There were a couple things that were missed (like sweeping out any spiderwebs/​cobwebs, dusting behind the couch, dusting in a couple of corners, vacuuming our closet) that our regular cleaning lady never misses. I might have pointed these things out to them, but felt bad since they seemed to be booked solid with all of the other folks using their Groupons. In fact, they had been double-​booked by mistake.
