My company has been with EVISTA for well over a couple of years now, and each experience is like the first: Top notch treatment, friendly customer services, and excellent work/​outcomes. I know we don’t get to use them for every one of our jobs, but whenever we do, I don’t worry about having to follow up or wonder if they will be familiar with any specialized insurance protocols. They really are a one of a kind company that is able to handle a good influx of business. I’ll keep using them with my company so long as we are allowed to do so.

I was first introduced to Evista by Darren Adams and I have been working with Evista for about a year now. Darrens professionalism is one of the reasons I like to work with Evista and it’s been great working with them since they are recommended by almost every insurance company. This has made the job process work a lot smoother since the insurance company and I can rely on getting accurate results. They are super prompt when it comes to responding to my emails and there has never been an incident with me where they did not receive a response within the very same day. Even when they are super busy, their time frames for scheduling and testing always work for everyone. I never feel like the customer, the adjuster, nor I are ever having to wait for the results. Even the hygienists that go to my sites are super informative when they call me to update me. Their arent enough words to express how well they do their job and how proffesional they are at Evista, all I know is that I will be working with Darren and Evista for a long time.

From a performance standard, they were fine. The technician who came to our house to do the testing was really friendly and seemed more than competent.
But after that, things took a ridiculous turn when it came to payment of the bill. Bill showed up less than a week after the job was done. No problem. But then less than a week after receiving the bill I start getting frequent calls from their bill collector wanting to know when they are getting their money. He kept asking me for my credit card number or the check number they should be expecting and what day the check would be in the mail. At one point he asked me if my insurance had already sent me my money. I told him I wasn’t sure if his service was included in the first disbursement and he calls me back less than an hour later telling me it was and once again inquiring about immediate payment.
If you use this company expect to get harassing calls no less than once a week demanding payment. I’ve never experienced this with any company I’ve ever done business with in the past. I gave them no indication that payment was going to be an issue. I’ve never jacked anyone on a bill ever and these people make you feel like you are that type of person.
Definitely will not be recommending them to anyone and will be contacting the business that utilized them in my home to make sure they are aware of the situation.

I have been working with the Evista for a year and a half now and have never had an issue with their service! Great service to my clients which is great service for me! Highly recommended!!!

They don’t follow what they promised and no apology nor refund but only rude attitude back at you.
We knew our HVAC system duct wrap is asbestos. We needed to find out if the dust in the vent is contaminated with asbestos from outside of the vent.
Friday, Rep Mathew said we have to start with the basic test to see if material consists of asbestos by law or procedure or some sort. But they will take a dust sample together to save the next trip and hundreds of dollars just to come back to the site.
Project manger was supposed to call us on Monday morning to go over things. No call.
I called after 2pm. Reception had no idea about my project. Noah (project manager) called back and went over only the pricing,
Test result came back. They only checked if asbestos is used in the materials… which we are all aware, and that is the whole reason we went to them referred by AAA.
I called them and asked for the explanation of this misconduct. Technician said he will call back within a couple of hours. No call. I called Mathew (the rep), he remembered our communication and what he promised, and he said he will call back, and never called back. Receptionist who was nice the day before is completely defensive.
Next day, Noah (project manager) sent me only a quote for next step, over $ 5000!
No explanation, No recommendation, nothing, just the next quote.
We talked on the phone. He says plan had to be changed. No, you don’t change plan and conduct job without telling us. If he told about the plan change, we did not conduct the test that costs several hundred dollars for the fact we already knew.
I asked for basic ask: Refund or conduct one dust testing Mathew promised with out the trip fee of $ 500 (yes, they charge $ 500 to just go back. That was why we needed the sample of dust collected on the first trip and that to be tested after the basic test comes out positive on material content which we knew to come out positive)
Noah, then completely and suddenly changed the attitude, made it very obvious he is NOT listening a word of what I say like a child would often does.
Completely their fault of miscommunication among themselves (I am sure Mathew and Noah did not even talk in details.) OR, Noah and his office team member screwed up by not telling us the «plan change» which was not communicated to me.
In return, I got truly rude attitude from Noah. NO explanation of testing result, NO recommendation, nothing.
Look at all other residential Unilocalers review. It has a clear pattern. They tell you all good things to initiate the business, then if something happens, no apology, no nothing.
Angies list also shows, «C» review. one is A and other is F before I post F review.

Stay away from this company at all costs! Evista charged me fraudulent charges for work not performed. Evista never provided any written documentation or proof that the work was even performed. Evista has agreements with the plumbers and I believe that they are running scams on homeowners’ insurance companies. Even though they have provided no written proof that the work was even performed, they sent me to collection for nonpayment of their fraudulent charges when my homeowners’ insurance refused to pay the claim which the plumber verbally guaranteed me would be paid by an insurance claim. My personal experience is that Evista is running scams on poor homeowners. They are not fair. They are not honest.

My review is similar to that of Christian B.‘s where the adjuster I hired brought Evista in to fulfill environmental testing, however, when the insurance company required more information, both my adjuster and Evista could not be contacted for the details that were being requested by the insurance company. Evista had told the insurance representative that the person who had actually fulfilled the services had since left the company and could no longer be reached. Because of the run around and the complete lack of communication, I had fired the adjuster. However, several months later, I am sent a bill from Evista for almost $ 1000. I’ve called them several times and spoke with representatives who assured me they would get back in touch with me about a solution… they never did… and I was hit with a letter from a debt collector. I had been told that since they are unable to get a hold of the adjuster who had hired them in the first place, and since insurance was not going to pay for the costs since they did not provide services and information required, they are billing me. I was told by the representative that «unfortunately, someone has to pay and you’re the one on the claim». HOWEVER, I didn’t sign a contract with them, and I did not hire them. But now I’m being billed by them. The representative at Evista had a very blasé response as he acknowledged the fact that he failed to call me back when he was supposed to follow up. I would keep my distance from these guys.

My company has been doing business with Evista for several years now and they are one of our top vendors. They are punctual, reliable, and are very knowledgeable in lead, asbestos, mold testing, and a variety of other environmental areas. Their pricing is very fair, and they are very honest. Our representative is Matthew Perry, and he gets anything done without hesitating. We receive email confirmations with constant updates and their turnaround time is very good. I am not sure about other reviews that claim that they are fraudulent as we have recommended them countless (over 100) times to clients of ours as well, and have never had a single complaint about dishonesty or anything else.

Our contact is Matthew Perry, he goes above and beyond for our clients. When we use them we receive a confirmation text message, email, and phone call to keep us updated. Even on weekends and after hours we have received great service.
I would recommend Evista to any homeowners or businesses as their communication and customer service is top notch. Ask for Matthew and he will be sure to take care of you or your clients.

I needed Mold testing for my home and was referred to Evista by a friend. From the moment I called in, their service top notch and I even had the opportunity to meet the owner of the company personally. They cover all of Southern California and therefore have been able to inspect several of my residences for me. If you are in need of an environmental consultant for your home, the obvious choice would be Evista.

To be honest, any rating over 1 star should be a lie. Well, you can tell they hire someone to write good review for themselves.
This company is a totally fraud. NEVER TRUST A WORD THEY TELL YOU AND DO NOT SIGN ANYTHING THEY PROVIDE TO YOU.
I was dealing with this company only because plumbing company sent them to do some work for at my house. They spent 5 minutes to completed testing and had me to sign some paperwork «Electronically». I was told the bill gonna be $ 399 and insurance company will be responsible for it even if the insurance got declined. I was happy and thought everything was all set.
Well, nightmare begun 5 month later. The next thing I knew was they sent me a letter and basically told me that they couldn’t get money from adjustor and would send $ 399 to collection agent to against me & to destroy my credit. If they would not get paid, they would put a lien on my house title. All I felt was «WHAT THE FUCK & WHY LIE TO ME». Yes, I admit I was stupid by not reading the terms&condition when I signed the paperwork, but who’s gonna read 5 pages terms & condition while inspector rushed you to sign? WHY DO THEY FUCKING LIE TO ME?
I made last effort to call them and tried to get my bill cost down a bit and I can clear the «DEBT», and wished it could settle the issue. They basically went into an «ASSHOLE MODE» and told me it is what it is, and I have to pay $ 399.
I will write this review on every review website to warn everyone. DON’T GET TRICKED and BE CAREFUL!!!

I basically made an account just to say how upset I am with this company. They were hired by my insurance company and They SUCK! It takes them 72 hrs to get a report for asbestos testing which basically takes only within 24hrs.
