Dr. Tony Mork

Dr. Mork was able to do precise analysis of my disc problem where no other of the «best» neurologists and orthopedic surgeons could. He was able to pinpoint my pain and provide a solution that was affordable, permanent and life changing. It was an outpatient procedure at a fantastic hospital near his office in Newport Beach and the care there exceeded my expectations with personal response to patient needs. After the hour procedure, I was able to leave the hospital and return to my hotel room so that Dr. Mork personally could check me the next day (over the weekend). I had his cell number and he was very accessible. My scar is the size of half my fingernail. I would refer anyone who is seriously considering Minimally Invasive Surgery to see Dr. Mork. I had called other places advertised in Arizona and elsewhere and was treated like a number, not making me feel confident in their care or technique. I had the exact opposite experience with Dr. Mork. He is absolutely brilliant, delightful and caring. You cannot ask for more in a person, let alone an extraordinary doctor.

Dr. Mork did so much for me! The first time I had surgery I was unable to walk hardly at all because of my back and sciatic pain and sometimes my right leg would not even work and then I couldn’t stand or walk at all.
All the conventional doctors and surgeons I saw didn’t even have a suggestion (or care) to look into what could help fix me. (This was the result of a fall when I was 9 months pregnant and the subsequent childbirth) I did a bunch of research to see if I could find more information about my body parts that weren’t working. i found Dr. Mork in 2004 when he was still in Florida.
Dr Mork figured out I just needed a discectomy and a right ilium debridement. Dr Mork fixed me! I did not have to use a wheelchair anymore! I could go to the grocery store or Costco! I could go a lot of places that I couldn’t go before!
5 years later (2009) I had some foraminal canal narrowing that was causing chronic pain and he fixed that! (Other traditional back surgeons wanted me to get a fusion and they said that would guarantee my disability because discs above and below fusions are guaranteed to degenerate)
Now it is 2015 and I am still as good as new! I go to trampoline parks, go on roller coasters, took a pole aerobics class, go hiking, 5k’s and more! I can actually run now! It is amazing I am going to try tennis and surfing this summer. Also now the strongest pain med I ever take is ibuprofen!!!
