Dr. Digi is simply the best… personable, knowledgeable and engaging. My daughter Tessa now has a beautiful smile and we couldn’t be happier. To top it off, the office has to be one of the most beautiful medical suites I’ve seen. Very clean and fun! The staff is great with kids. If you’re looking for a warm environment for yourself or your kids for braces, this is it!

While in Newport Beach on vacation, one of my son’s brackets came off. The office accommodated our plea for help, taking care of my son in just a few minutes and for no charge! The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating, and the dental worker caring for my son was kind and compassionate. I would highly recommend for anyone in the area needing an orthodontist!

I called this morning and was seen within the hour for an emergency visit to adjust my upper and repair my lower retainer at Dr. Digiovanni’s office. Windy the RDA gave me excellent patient care and I would recommend this office to all my friends and family.

Dr Digi is the VERY BEST!!! His office staff from the first call to your last visit treats you like you are their only patient. Great chair side attitude, very patient with sensitive scary cats, gentle and funny. Office is gorgeous with a nice amenities bar. Game room for the kids and always willing to get your supplies to you when you forgot to get them when you were in. I could not have asked for a better staff that supports Dr Digi. Now if you could see my girls smile!!! That alone is worth every visit and advice and care this office gives. She has a million dollar smile for just a few pennies for the result!!! Don’t think twice book your appointment today for adults and kids!

Everyone that works here is great. They are very nice and very helpful. I’m giving them 3 stars due to the fact all 3 permanent bottom retainers broke randomly or by flossing. In my opinion a retainer should be able to be broken by a piece of floss or by nothing at all. So after $ 5,000 straightening my teeth the bottom are back to how they used to be.

Very thorough, kind, fun & professional environment… Would give them a strong recommendation!

Dr. DG did my braces in Laguna as a kid (through 95 – 96). This man is simply the best… Spend the money, a smile does not have a price tag. You can thank me later; oh, it’s later…

I went into Dr. Digi office not because I needed braces, because I did not like how my lower teeth grew in as a child. Let’s just say they were straight to most people, but not too me. The staff did not see any need for me having braces, but since I was not satisfied, the staff and Dr. Digi did whatever it took to make me happy with my lower teeth.
Kids must love going to Dr. Digi office for the game room, playing on the iPads and all the the prizes that can be won. If you are looking for an Orthodontics office that takes good care of you and/​or your kid (s) no matter what your Orthodontics needs are, Dr. Digi and Staff is the 1^st place one should visit.

I have just completed my Invisalign regimen through Dr. DiGiovanni orthodontics. I am beyond thrilled with the results! Dr Digiovanni is a magnificent artist and a true professional. His staff is warm, friendly, knowledgeable and FUN! Great doctor, great experience!

Two of my kids just got their braces off in the last month and I am finally on here writing a review. Dr. Digiovanni and his staff have been beyond amazing from start to finish in every aspect of my kids’ orthodontic care. While the end results are fabulous, the most unusual thing about this office is the happiness of all the staff. It just has a good feeling when you walk in the door and my kids never minded once going for a visit. They are so efficient, so professional, so extremely patient with our insurance companies (more patient than myself actually), so caring, so proficient and knowledgeable, and again, just seem happy to be there which really affects the whole experience. Kudos! Highly recommend! We will be back with our third kid when it’s his time.

This review was a long time coming. If you are looking up Dr DG, chances are that you or your child need braces.
I met Dr DG as a 38 year old with a crossbite/​underbite. Prior to this, I had consults with at least 2 other Newport orthos (one of them was actually my child’s ortho), and all of them had the same general recommendation: to have jaw surgery which involved breaking my jaw to align it properly, and then get in braces for about 2+ years. I did NOT want to do this, at age 38.
What I wanted was camouflage dentistry with sustainable results. (I discovered that this was an option because I became friendly with another dentist. Up until then, I didn’t even realize it was an option or I would have done it sooner.)
I met with Dr DG and he was the ONLY ortho that got it. We did Xrays, went thru treatment and surgery options (yes, I fully understood and signed off on the risks and just to be sure, met with 2 independent oral surgeons — one that he recommended and another reputable one). I did a ton of research on the web, even watched a jaw surgery on Youtube (super gross, don’t do it)!
I will not describe my specific treatment plan (you should understand your own, though) — but let me put it this way. About 18 – 20 months of clear braces and other stuff later, my teeth look awesome. They really do. I am so happy with the results, I get compliments all the time, and I would do it again in a heartbeat. Don’t get me wrong. I did not love being IN braces. But, I love my teeth now. And working with Dr DG made what would have been a not-​fun experience, productively fun.
Dr DG and his staff were a dream to work with. They were accommodating, caring, gentle when needed, quick with offering the Advil (ha!), fast when I needed to get somewhere else, flexible about fitting me in (even after hours) when «something just isn’t right» and always explained to me what was going on with my teeth and (the inevitable question at about 18 months) — HOW MUCH LONGER AND WHY. Always.
Another always– I always saw Dr. DG at every appointment, so he had full mastery of what he wanted to do with this complicated case. He stayed as long as he needed to– could be 5 minutes («OK, we’re on course here, carry on») or he could be 25 minutes. I did not feel rushed.
If cost is an issue, Dr DG;s quote for my treatment (the braces part) was exactly the same as everybody else’s. Or less, actually (since it ended up not involving the jaw surgery). Incidentally, I did not interview Dr DG for my children’s ortho care because someone told me that he was expensive. That’s just not true. I wish I knew then what I know now.

Dr. DiGiovanni is an amazing Orthodontist– a perfectionist. All four of my kids have seen him and all had unique cases. His staff members are friendly and competent.
They go above and beyond the call of duty. Dr. DiGiovanni has answered all my questions and has spent time with each of my kids. His office is extremely clean and he makes it fun for the kids with video games in the waiting room, iPads to borrow, and incentive programs (prizes for kids who show up on time and brush well).
Dr. DiGiovanni and his staff member always make my appointment enjoyable.

Excellent orthodontist! In my opinion the best in Newport Beach. I have referred patients to Dr. DiGiovanni for over 4 years. He is an ethical orthodontists that constantly continues his education with the most cutting edge dental educators in the world. I highly recommend Dr. Digi to my patients and I have had nothing but great results and happy patients.

Dr. DiGiovanni is great! My daughter had terrible teeth. I adopted her from Russia and she had teeth going in all different directions! He always made her feel comfortable. The whole experience was easy! My daughter loves going to see him now. They have a fun office with a cool game room. She asks me to arrive early so she can play all the games! Very cool!

This has to be one of the most beautiful orthodontic offices I’ve seen. Very clean. The staff is great with kids. If you’re looking for a warm environment to bring your kids for braces, this is a great choice. Dr DiGiovanni is professional and fun.

I am simply in awe! Talk about a well organized practice that makes you feel welcome from the minute you make the initial call. I took my son to an ortho a few years ago and lets just say that the results were less than acceptable. He mentioned that most of his friends at school are a patient of this practice and we should make an appt with Dr. DiGiovanni. I am VERY glad that we did! There was no pressure and in fact Dr. DiGiovanni recommended that we do minimum work to fix our concerns. I highly recommend this practice to anyone who needs an orthodontist. The transparency and the genuine care trickles from the top down. Everyone’s goal here is to make you feel welcome, comfortable and earn your trust. Getting braces as an adult was a great decision and I’m glad I did so with Dr DiGiovanni and his friendly staff.
Before moving back to San Francisco I working in OC on an extended contract, where a colleague highly recommended Dr. DiGiovanni. So, after reading the more recent Unilocal reviews I decided to have a consultation with him.
He was very thorough and presented me with different options. I appreciated the detail he wen into and I decided to go for it. I’m really glad I did.
Dr Digiovanni and his staff made the stressful process actually an enjoyable experience. His staff is knowledgable and friendly and the office modern. I am really happy with my results and recommend this office to any adult seeking braces.

Our experience with Drs DiGiovanni and Cook was most positive. 2 daughters had full orthodontia in 2 phases. My wife and I chose Invisalign. All treatments were completed in the forecast time, with smiles all around. In my case I was hesitant to deal with the inconvenience of adult orthodontia, but I’m very pleased with the results

I am 19 years old. I never had braces when I was younger, and I was starting to feel very self conscious about my smile.
First off, I have to say they are the best orthodontists ever. I shopped around before picking DiGiovanni and Cook and no one else compared to them. It was super fun, I enjoyed all of my visits! They have the best waiting room I have ever seen. The staff is soooo nice and friendly, I personally had Dr. Cook as my Ortho and she was great, I noticed results in my teeth (I had a bad gap and when I closed my mouth it looked like my mouth was still open: P) Within the first few weeks my bite dramatically changed and its still changing! My teeth are almost perfect now and i have a short time to go, but i was surprised at how fast and easy my treatment has been. They work with your school and work schedule, im working and in college currently so this was a definite plus for me.
They have the most advanced technology currently available, and are constantly researching new ideas and going to conferences to have the best orthodontic technology/​services available. I must also say that they do a different variety of options to choose from, invisalign, «Invisible» ceramic braces, traditional metal braces, etc. and all of the services are reasonably priced plus they fix your braces for FREE at anytime if you break a bracket or rubber band, no questions asked! …that was the best part for me because I love hard candy, chewing/​crunching ice cubes, and sticky foods so I was getting mine fixed often haha.
Another thing they do is a point/​reward systems which is pretty cool, they let you earn points for different things (they give you a huge list) and you can cash in your points for awesome prizes (Disneyland Passes, Nordtroms gift cards, iPod touches, and almost anything else you can think of. the list is gigantic!)
Over all, I HIGHLY recommend DiGiovanni and Cook Orthodontics, they really are the best in their profession.

I love the fun and friendly vibe of DiGiovanni and Cook! I honestly have not been to any other dental office that goes above and beyond in creating an interactive space for kids, adults and families. For those nervous about getting check ups… the aquariums are relaxing. They celebrate your orthodontic milestones with you, often by giving flowers or other gifts.
Finding any healthcare professional who provides the highest quality of care in a welcoming and comfortable manner is difficult. I always shop around. If you are tired of shopping… bingo! Here you go.
You’ll have to keep visiting the office so come here and make it enjoyable.
