This place is clutch when you’re loaded at work and don’t have time to go out for lunch. The selections pretty large for the type of place this is and the guys working always crack me up. The breakfast burritos are pretty bomb too. If you create a good relationship the the employees l, they’ll throw in any extra ingredients you want at no charge(i.e. bacon).

This place has honestly gone down hill since the Asian lady started running it.(Not a racial comment, just trying to make a clear identification) the food trucks will take this place out of business very soon if they don’t step their game up. To be honest, I’m routing for them because I want good lunch EVERY day, not just when the food trucks come! The wait is very long as well… but let me make one thing clear, the problem is NOT the employees, because they’re great! Always good customer service!

Seems like other people have complained about the gloves thing. Sometimes they wear them sometimes they don’t and the guy that makes sandwiches usually doesn’t. They are not wearing the right kind of gloves when they do. They should wear the food prep ones that are thinner plastic, not the uncomfortable latex ones. Anyhow, the owners are right there and they don’t enforce anything so obviously they don’t care.

I work in the building so obviously this café is super convenient for me as I only have a half hour lunch and driving somewhere is just too much time. First of all the owners are rude, not friendly or helpful. Second they are way over priced for the food but that’s a given considering it’s easy to go there vs driving for a lot of people. Most of all the food sucks! More so now than before, some of cooks i would talk to all the time are no longer there and the food has gone down hill. I ordered a turkey melt and the cheese was not melted, food was all hanging outside of the bread and the bread wasn’t even toasted. My co worker ordered a turkey melt as well on another occasion and they gave her a tuna melt. She didn’t say anything because she didn’t want them to do something to her food. So happy eating all. Hope this helps.

My rating is more of a 3.5 than 3. For a quick grab of something to eat, it’s a decent place. The staff has always been nice. I’m not a huge fan of their tuna… it’s tasteless and mushy, but they do have a decent salad bar and snacks to grab if you’re in a rush.

They stop serving breakfast at 11, wish there was a sign stating such. Like others said, food is ok especially if you are starving and forgot breakfast/lunch at home. Great for those that work nearby for something quick without having to drive. Bagels are good. Breakfast burrito is a bit greasy on the bottom, FYI.

The ONLY reason the people in my office go to this café is because it’s right outside our building. 90% of the employees in our office don’t order food that needs to be prepared because we all know how those items turn out. After having some horrible experiences with this café, including an omelet I received and was enjoying until I found that half of it was RAW, I decided to give it another chance today. I got a panini and I asked them to add avocado. Well of course they left off the avocado, which I discovered when I got back to my desk. When I walked down to get it taken care of, they were bothered by this and then proceeded to just thrown avocado on the sandwich they had already served me. I had explained that I wanted the avocado as part of the panini and therefore it all should have been heated together. This seemed to confuse everyone. I get things can get crazy during lunch time, but the quality in service and in the product is crap. New management brought this café down from a place we wanted to grab lunch to now, a place we are sometimes forced to go to. It’s over priced! The food is only ok if they don’t have to cook anything! Service is slow and the owners can be quite rude! I think it’s time for another management change!

Service is SLOW, and food is mediocre. You pay a mark-up for convenience. One boiled egg is $ 1.25. Highway robbery. I’d only go here if I was desperate and/or lazy to go anywhere else.

I wanted to like this place as I work across the way. Its eh. If you are desperate they have food. Just expect cafeteria food that is expensive. Nothing special.

Bayview is both a blessing and a curse if you work in this complex. If you’re starving or overloaded at work, they got your back. But if you’re craving a breakfast burrito when you know you shouldn’t, they will also be there for you… Given the location, everything is slightly marked up, but it’s still a pretty steady option for lunch; out of the week, I probably eat here at least twice. My go-to’s are their turkey avocado wrap, the turkey pesto mozz panini and their delicious breakfast burritos. The turkey wrap is a hit or miss, since it can be dry if they do not add enough avocado. The turkey pesto panini… Is good if you love da cheez. They use sliced turkey breast and a huge slab of mozz; on top of that, the sandwiches are big enough for two meals, so that second half can be your late afternoon pick me up. Breakfast burritos. Chorizo, sausage bacon. Hash browns. Eggs. Taco sauce. Cheez. o_o extra taco sauce on the side. They make everything to order, service is quick and always friendly. Order by phone for even quicker service!

Super delish, got the veggie wrap. It was so tasty and perfect for a light lunch. This was my first time and can’t wait to bring my husband back to try them out. Love that they have a huge menu with coffee and smoothies too! Oh and baked goods as well for post lunch pick me up!

I agree with Jt S.‘s review. PLEASEWEARGLOVES. If we are going to be paying high prices for mediocre food, at least let the customer feel he is eating safe food. I also take issue with management after reading reviews from customers echoing the same concern– that the management responds with things like«We try but it’s sometimes not possible». MAKEITPOSSIBLE. MAKEIT A PRIORITY. Sometimes I feel the owners look at the customer with a hawk eye like they are going to steal some chips and walk out without paying– maybe they should take that hawk eye attitude and enforce it on the employees to have safe food handling habits. Also– SIGH– I ordered my food and they got it wrong! Disappointed!

I got the ice blended white chocolate grande and have to say it was plain. You can taste the hint of of white chocolate but it had more of a vanilla flavor to it. The disappointing thing about this was unlike most ice blended drinks this had a consistency of a slurpee. As in you drink from it you will have nothing left but flavorless chunks of ice in there. I say just get a regular drink if you’re there.

I like this place… I haven’t ordered too many things, but thus far the owners are really nice and do what they can to make sure you’re happy. –Omelette’s = you can’t go wrong –Latte’s= they have coconut flavored syrup and have almond milk– HUGE plus –Fries are good too. I heard their cookies are really good too.

Best thing here is the breakfast burrito. You get a choice of bacon or sausage, and whether to include hash browns(inside the burrito), or not. It comes with a salsa/hot sauce and can be made to order pretty quickly. Everything else is pretty mediocre. This place primarily attracts customers from the nearby office buildings for lunch… and it can get packed! Otherwise, I would not make a special trip to come here. The sandwiches vary in consistently, and you never know exactly what to expect.

New owners = not good. Prices way too high. When the previous owner(Jason) had the place, the entire staff who handled food wore gloves! Today, I was completely appalled when the food service worker started to make my salad, stopped to grab a pen and write down an order, then went back to handling food — WITHOUT washing his hands! I approached the owner and her comment was something to the effect that gloves are not required when handling food. If this is the case where she doesn’t want to enforce gloves when handling food, then someone else should be taking the order(s) without the food handlers grabbing a dirty pen, paper, etc. Needless to say I will never set foot in this place again.

First things first, I absolutely adore the staff here. They’ve seriously always been THEBEST. That being said, the café has recently been sold to a new owner, and ever since then I have not gotten a single order that’s been correct. «hold the bacon» now means«ALLTHEBACON!!! And break it up into tiny, microscopic pieces so that I can spend the next hour picking it all out before inevitably missing some chunk that’s randomly in a completely different layer of the sandwich, please.» «Chicken Avocado Panini» means«take your avocados and stick ‘em where the sun don’t shine. We hate green things!»(for real though… how do you just not put avocado in a sandwich with avocado in its name?) «no mayo» means«make sure you dump enough oil, raw egg yolk and vinegar onto the thing to make it fall off in clumps every time I try to bite.» «_____salad» means«no ______» I love this place, though. I do. The food is decent(if it’s right) and filling(ok, portions are HUGE and will get you through both lunch and dinner). The cookies are amazing. I’m just really… really…really afraid to keep going back and getting sad every time I look at yet another messed up order.

I work near this little café and it is convenient, great location, friendly staff, excellent chocolate chip cookies and a great salad bar. I’ve given their breakfast and lunch a try and you can make healthy food choices but their prices can be a little steep. Bayview Café is my go to spot when I get too rushed in the morning to pack my lunch for work.

The area is in a business like setting so there is paid structure parking and then there is 20 minute parking across the area. The workers are charismatic and friendly. Not only will their food help start you up but their energy as well. Their breakfast meals are great. Their chorizos are delicious and the prices are reasonably fair. They don’t advertise this on their menus but they do offer spinach to add on your omelets or burritos. There cookies are made fresh, large, soft, crunchy, and sweet. Definitely unique. If you are in this neck of the woods and need a fulfilling on the go breakfast meal. This is the place to go.
