These place is rundown the process of maintaining or preserving someone or something, or the state of being maintained is not in essence here. This maintenance crew is unreliable & honestly is ineffective I mean please speak my founding fathers language, sure Daniel is customer oriented but really what else do you expect out of someone who just sits on there behind eating popcorn all day, I’ll look somewhere else because the buildings are filthy, not to mention the apartment grounds are full of spider webs, cigarettes butts and rude behavior from the maintenance staff.

We moved into Baypointe for 9 months and it was a great place to live. The proximity to the walking path at back bay and the pool were two of my favorite features. We rented a 2 bedroom, 2 bath on the top floor with a small porch area — it was great, plenty of space and everything you need. Baypointe management was great — my favorite team member was Daniel. He was always so friendly, knowledgable and helpful anytime we had any questions about our lease or needed something for the apartment. If we returned to the area, we would definitely consider Baypointe again!

I have been living in Baypointe and I am extremely impressed as to the extraordinary service that I have gotten with Daniel Garza. He has helped me with everything from going out of his way to having a package delivered to my door to making sure everything in my apartment is in working order and any time I ever need anything he is happy and willing to help me immediately. Thank you Daniel for making my experience at Baypointe so pleasant. My dog has been very happy here as well. They even have dog bones in the office for her.

The property is clean, the apartments are nice, the maintenance crew is very responsive, and the leasing office is helpful. I think Baypointe has done a great job especially with service. Anytime I have maintenance issues, it gets taken care of immediately.
Daniel Garza and James Thai have both been incredibly helpful with my situation. I was left in a terrible situation with a very careless roommate and they did their best to help accommodate in any way that they could. It’s a very comfortable neighborhood and great if you love your own private and comfortable space. There are events all the time and although I only attended one of them, I had a great time with tacos, drinks, and music at the Cinco De Mayo event.
Thank you Daniel Garza for helping me clear up all my issues with the apartment and also just helping to make my stay as smooth and comfortable as it could be. I really enjoyed living here, and if i didn’t have to move to Los Angles I would definitely continue my stay!

I just renewed my lease here at Baypointe, and I could not be any happier. From upper management, to the after-hours maintenance person, the customer service has been excellent. During our recent lease renewal, we actually leased a larger model, and the staff in the leasing office literally alerted us as soon as the apartment we wanted became available. They worked with our time frame, and help us get started with approved tenant upgrades (we put hardwood in our last place, so to the lucky next tenant; you are welcome!), and we will certainly out wood in the next one as well. Long story short, we love it here, the staff literally knows most of the tenants by name, and you couldn’t ask for a better spot with some of the most beautiful sunsets…

Firstly, I am sorry about people who HATE MY COMMUNITY. Your experience is not anything like mine. My corporation relocated us from the Bay Area two years ago. Unfamiliar with the area, and unsure of the future, we deferred purchasing. Relo showed us 10 different apartment complexes. You could not believe some of the things we saw. Nothing is cheap in the area, but a lot of things we saw were not at all a good value. So, at the end of a long, disappointing day, we came to Baypointe. Our leasing consultant was amazing… professional, considerate. We lucked into a unit with a view of the Back Bay that had just come up. Living here is like being on vacation at an upscale resort. Seriously. It is AMAZINGLY well situated. Home Depot, Fashion Island, Costco, Corona, Laguna. it’s like everything is 10 – 20 minutes away. It is Very well maintained. I have not changed a light bulb, even in two years. Maintenance requests are usually filled the same day. Once, we had a plumbing problem on a Saturday, and when our staff couldn’t deal with it, they brought in a plumber at weekend rates until it was fixed. Our neighbors are friendly and quality, respectful people. It is a small community — about 300 units — and Irvine Company takes care to keep it a great value for the price.

Perfect property for anyone who appreciates luxury without overcrowding. The aspect of the property management company that eclipsed the competition is the customer service agents. Blake F. was dedicated to aligning options with my lifestyle and amenity preferences. His laid back /no pressure approach made me confident that the personality of the company and Baypointe were genuine and promising of a safe, comfortable, and enjoyable residence to become a home. This was echoed through the other representatives we interacted with. Daniel was very professional and courteous welcoming me to the property upon arriving. This was the same day as a French crêpe and champaign residence appreciation event. I overheard residents raving about the event the following day when I signed up for an apartment.

Baypointe
I know Baypointe is trying to address the problems with this property. Unfortunately it has been a Very slow process.
I have been living here 2 years the end of Jan 2015.
I know many complaints I have heard is they are constantly raising the leases… even when good tenants have been living here for several years.
I love my location in the complex however I know come January
I will have to search & move to another place. I do not understand The Irvine Co constantly raising the rent when a lease is up.
A Good resident who pays their rent & takes care of the unit
Is penalized & forced to move out. I personally have heard this complaint over & over. The Irvine Company does not put any value on a good resident it is all about the money. At this time
I am paying the going rate for this category of apartments.
I do know when «a good» resident moves out the rent many times Lower for «The New Resident» than what was offered to the existing resident. There are many good reasons to lease an apartment from The Irvine Co as bad reasons. Sine TIC dominates Newport Beach & Irvine there are not many other choices to live.

I lived at Baypointe for about 9 months. Living there was great. It was quiet and peaceful. Having direct access to the Back Bay Trail was a plus. It’s probably the main reason why I choose this complex over Turtle Ridge. Management is very friendly and helpful at all times. Maintenance was superb. Anytime I had a problem which was only a few times, they were there within minutes. That’s 5 star service! I have driven by this community a million times and always wondered what it would be like living there. Now I can assure you that it was a pleasant experience and would highly recommend living there.

I actually joined Unilocal just so I could write detailed feedback on my 4 ½ year experience living at Baypointe as a token of my appreciation. My move out is bittersweet, as I have come to make BP as home… and alas I found a purchase property here in Newport Beach, aligned with my long term goals.
Having lived in many rental units throughout my life, BP is without question the best experience I have had. My feedback is based on the gorgeous landscaping, the small community, the peace and quiet, the easy access to back bay trails, the weight room facility which I frequent and the safety and cleanliness. However the most important is the prompt courteous and friendly staff. I would like to mention some specific names:
Nina — Manager — 5 stars — has helped me during tough decision making on rental options/terms, and sees me at the drop of a hat if I need to see her on the spot. No nonsense, no attitude. honest, sincere, person I can trust.
James — Asst. Manager — 5 stars — greeted me warmly and made a great connection with me, taking an interest into my hobbies and giving a personal touch into my life here. answers my questions at the drop of a hat also — no attitude, sincere and always makes time for me.
Ruthie — I have come to the office an hour after closing and she is in there busy, typing away or doing whatever work she is doing. she doesn’t even need to open the door for me as the office is closed, or she could have blown me off and curtly told me it was closed come back tomorrow… however, she opens the door, smiling and asks what she can do for me. I felt embarrassed to bother her after hours and quickly tried to get an answer so she could go home for the night. she has also given me tours of other units and clearly told me «YOU are our priority here». wow. 5 stars.
and every other person throughout the years, starting with Luke, Jessica, Justin, the other Justin, Santorina sp?, etc…
without going on and on, I will just conclude by saying, it would be my honor to be welcomed back to the complex at some time in the future — who knows — If early retirement! I would recommend without any hesitation BP to friends, and colleagues. You would be living in gorgeous Newport Beach, with easy access to everything, a beautiful nature trail in your backyard, safety, comfort, awesome supportive staff, etc. Good luck!

Good place extremely neat and well maintained. Pluses: grounds are near perfect, direct access to Newport Back Bay, modern up to date apartments, pet friendly (fur real), nice residents for the most part. Management is great especially with the addition of Nina.
Minuses: parking can me a bother– some residents have stacked their garage full of stuff and use 2 – 3 spots making it tough to find one in evenings. The pool area is noisy especially in the summer — that is to be expected buy sometimes it is out of hand AVOID A Poolside apartment here. It’s little kids all day and then «bigger» kids into the evening trying to relive their college fraternity days. I am not exaggerating on this. All in all I think it’s a good spot The Irvine Company gives you exactly what you would expect they are very, very consistent. If they had the apartment layout we wanted we would have probably stayed. Nina is awesome!

Baypointe is a nice, small, quiet community in such a great location. The back gate leads right out to the Back Bay bike path and out the front gate leads you to the cute Bonita Creek park. There are restaurants within walking distance and even CVS/Ralphs. The maintenance crew was very nice and office staff always helpful. James and Nina are awesome! I had to relocate and will miss this place.

My fiancé and I have lived at Baypointe for over 4 years now and we absolutely love it! Its a gorgeous property and in a great location — close to trails for running, freeway access, the Bluffs, and Fashion Island. We have lived in 2 units over the course of our time here and both have had great neutral upgrades, and large living spaces in both living rooms and bedrooms. Probably the one drawback of the units is carpeting in the main areas as it gets worn /stained very easy but with that being said there is hard wood floors in the kitchen /bathrooms. One of the biggest draws for us when we were looking is the in-unit washer /dryer. We are far out of college and community laundry is just such a big no on so many levels! We have a larger size dog and this was one of the only places that would allow a larger animal in the immediate area. (although a «pet rent» is added on to your rent each month)
My personal favorite place of the complex is the pool area — it is almost resort like! It gets busy on the weekends but for the most part it is never too crowded to enjoy. The staff has been wonderful to us since day one — we haven’t had to use maintenance all that much but when we have they are quick and give you thorough updates on completion of anything that would need to be fixed/repaired.
The only reason Baypointe gets 4 stars is the rent. Not so much the pricing because let’s face it — you are in Newport and it truly is probably the best your are going to get in this area for rentals, however that being said our rent has been raised each year we’ve been here and that sucks. After being here for multi-years, Irvine company should recognize loyalty and cut the consumer some slack after a certain amt of time! Also for the price being paid — water, trash, and sewer should be included (it’s not!).
I am sad to say we are leaving Baypointe this September because we finally bought a place of our own, however we had a great couple of years and memories here and I would highly recommend!

I’ve lived here for about ten months now and I’m so sad to be leaving. I love love love everything about Baypointe, friendly neighbors, super pet friendly community, wonderful staff, always plenty of parking for me and guests no matter what time I get home. The apartments are gorgeous, love the pool and spa area, there are BBQ’s you can use if you want to have a little get together. I never have but I’ve seen a few groups do it. It’s never crowded or rowdy at the pool though, everyone is really respectful.
I want to make sure to highlight how wonderful everyone that works here is — from grounds maintenance to the leasing office staff. In the short time I’ve been here almost everyone knows me by name, they are clearly selective in their hiring because I’ve lived in many complexes and I’ve never been so impressed with literally every single member of the staff in a community. It goes without saying that they always take care of any maintenance request immediately and efficiently.
The only reason I’m not renewing is that I’m in the market for a 1 bedroom now and Baypointe is out of my price range. I can’t even imagine finding another place that can compare to Baypointe, I wish I didn’t have to! I highly recommend this complex to anyone!

My wife and I have lived here for over 8 years and have enjoyed it tremendously.
The maintenance staff is one of the best aspects of living here. They are courteous, friendly, respectful, and pleasant. Whenever we need assistance or require a little extra something due to circumstances, such as our hours, the maintenance crew is ALWAYS accommodating. The staff is always busy planting flowers, keeping up the grounds, painting curbs, putting trash in the trash can because someone may not be able to or who knows why. I have seen staff take trash from an older tenant who was walking towards the dumpsters and through it for them. The management team as ways smiles a greet us by name, they know our names because we have lived here for so long.
We have a yellow lab and we visit the management office on Sundays to get a doggy treat. The jar is always filled with doggy treats and Duke knows it, he does tricks for them to earn his treat.
Our view from our 2^nd bedroom/office over looks the Bay, where there are always lots of beautiful birds and sunsets to match. Across the street is Bonita Park that is full of life every weekend with soccer, baseball, football and the annual snow festival.
Newport Beach brings in snow once a year for children & families to enjoy.
Our neighbors are super nice too! We walk our doges together, cat watch each others cats if one of us are gone for a few days, and are respectful 99% of the time.

I would hate the day if we had a falling out with the Irvine Co.
They have bigger money and bigger lawyers… ask the old Ranchero’s…
