Good drinks and attentive staff, the food isn’t bad either with quite the variety of choices.

The DJ fucking bloowwwwwwwssssssss. I would love it if there was no DJ. Shitty music that is way too loud. The one star is for the place with the DJ. It would be five without.

So really awesome atmosphere and ambience. Good drinks however, worst and rudest«DJ» I have ever met. I go to shows year round and this has NEVER happened. We tried to get to know him and he started verbally attacking my friendly. I won’t be coming back. Your employees reflect your establishment. 8÷29÷2015

There are 2 great things about this place. First of all, it’s a sports bar in Newnan, GA that has a few surprising gems on their menu I’m addition to the standard American pub fare. You can find some a few amazing Korean dishes mixed in with the expected wings, burgers, etc. It’s the only place in the area where you will find such food. You’ll never find a sports bar with Korean food and you’ll never find a Korean restaurant with a decent selection of fairly priced beer, pool tables, local bands, and DJs. The second thing is the staff. The bartenders, servers, and the owner are all excellent in their own ways. Janet is one of the few people I’ve ever seen in Newnan who never stops running. If she knows what you like she will greet you with a drink or your liking when she comes to the table. Paige is amazingly friendly. Then there is Suk — «the b! tch» owner. If you have that perspective of her then you’re probably an @sshole. Anyone who has been there a few times will know that Suk is a awesome. She is a bar owner! She has to deal with occasional drunk and rowdy patrons and does an excellent job at it. She’d take down a guy twice her size if she had to. If you treat her respectfully you’ll make an excellent friend. If you don’t then you should probably go somewhere else. I started going here occasionally for the live music and to see DJ Corey Powell. I kept coming back for the surprisingly great food and the friendly staff. The Corner Tavern hosts a diverse crowd where anyone is welcome. Suk tries very hard to cater to everyone who knows how to act in public. If you want act foolishly or disrespect her or her staff then stay at home. Late night events are 21 and up, but during the day this is a family(including kids) friend establishment. They also have low priced lunch specials. The wings are great and the Korean food is even better.

Went here on Saturday for the first time; since I moved down to Newnan, I’ve been looking for a good beer bar, and after that one visit, I know this isn’t it. The first thing we noticed was a ‘dress code’ posted on the door — typical kinds of things, no guns(I can’t believe that needs to be said), no undergarments showing, no tank tops, etc. Once we got inside, the place was practically empty except for the bar(keep in mind this was 6:00 on a Saturday). The place is dirty — paint chipped off the walls, mismatched paint on the concrete floor, you could see all the dirt behind the bar, too. Our bartender was nice, but not a one of the three ladies serving the seventeen customers was dressed to follow the bar’s dress code. They were all wearing tank tops and short shorts, which wouldn’t bother me except for the sign on the door. The beer selection was rather small for the draft lines, and they didn’t have a drink menu so we could see what bottles they had(most of which were being served out of coleman coolers instead of the speed wells). We ordered some burgers and an appetizer. Our appetizer arrived pretty quickly, about the time we’d finished our first beer, and was decidedly store-bought and frozen. Our burgers, however, took another twenty minutes. We had both ordered medium, and they were def. not that. Both were pretty blackened, also frozen patties from the looks of it. Not bad, but not exactly tasty either. As far as the ambiance, it was kind of roudy with a few guys yelling and swearing as they were watching the game, and a lady who I assume was the owner drinking and yelling with them. There was one girl there that a guy kept trying to buy shots for who looked decidedly uncomfortable, and a regular who kept yelling to the bartender because she couldn’t find her keys to head home(she was way, WAY too drunk to drive, of course). Every now and then some of the patrons would star at us, giving me the old ‘you shouldn’t be here’ vibe. Our bartender was very nice, she kept checking up on us during the hour we were there, but beyond her service, I can think of nothing even remotely nice about this place. Decidedly a dirty ‘Dive’ bar.

I was just at a wedding this last weekend and visiting from las vegas. Our friend that is getting married suggested we go and have a few drinks while we were visiting. Being from Las Vegas our expectations are a bit high but I must say WOW ! We were blown away from the start of the evening. We walked in and place had a stead crowd seemed like a scene from Cheers. We were greeted by the owner which we did not know till we sat down. Friendly smile and such a warm feeling about the place. We hung around the bar for a few shots and the bartenders were so cool. They talked to us about Vegas and we asked where to hang out. They took the time to introduce us to a few regulars and seemed like we had been living there for years. Food was amazing and fresh ! The owner came by asked us a few questions about vegas seemed very interested. She also bought a few rounds for the Grooms men and was very very pleasant. My buddy made a great recommendation and my wife and I were very impressed. We went back two more times before we flew out and will come back for sure. Thanks to the staff and my buddy for a great recommendation !

This place is a total dump. We recently went to Corner Tavern after seeing an ad about their Korean lunches, but was immediately turned off by the décor of the place. It’s dark, dreary and decorated horribly. What once was a nicely decorated place has turned into a dive. Our lunch came in a bento box, but instead of getting the usual Korean sides with it, we got fried mushrooms, I think. Maybe it was fried okra, I don’t remember because I just wanted to eat my food and leave! Don’t waste your time going there. Drive over to the oriental store near the airport and buy your own marinated meats and grill them yourself for a much better meal with a nicer environment… your own home.

Will never step foot in this place again. The owner, Suk, is one of the rudest establishment owners I have ever come across. Before my run in with her, I noticed how unpleasant she was with other guest. Her tone & demeanor is not what I would expect from someone who is receiving my money to act like. Seeing other peoples interactions I thought was funny until she literally pushed me for getting to close to her stage as I was leaving her business. To disrespect a person who is paying her bills is uncalled for and beyond unthinkable. If negative stars were available this would’ve been an easy choice. Suk it!
