The Centre for Performing and Visual Arts

I drove down to Newnan, Ga to support a friend that was in town and performing with her Quartet at this establishment. I complained the whole way down to Newnan (45 minute drive from Atlanta) but I must say, when I arrived here I was impressed. The facility is really nice. Great art pieces and very clean feel from the vibe. I must also say that I was really impressed with their booking choices of artists & plays. The act I went to see was «The Harlem Quartet.» This group is world renowned, grammy winning, & bring a new attitude & twist to classical music. I was shocked but happy that a group of this stature came all the way to perform! It was a very intimate atmosphere and concert. The auditorium is big enough to accommodate a large crowd but I am honored to say that we were able to be on stage with The Harlem Quartet as they performed for us! If you ever have a chance to visit, don’t hesitate. They have an awesome schedule coming up and I’ll definitely return!
