Morgans Trophy

When it comes to engravers for trophies, I think the bar must be pretty low to be moderately successful. I picked 3 stars instead of 2 even though I have experienced better. Better comes when you have competition and in Fayette County there really isn’t much competition for engravers of plaques and trophies.
When we walked in I thought we had walked into the set of some sketch on Blue Collar Comedy hour. Three employees were sitting in the back of the «showroom» with their go-​plates of a late afternoon snack– everything fried– just shooting the breeze. Boxes are piled every where. Dust on everything. No one hops up to say, how can we help you. We walk to the back and ask if they can engrave our daughter’s name on a plaque she had won. «Sure, ready in a week».
For some reason we actually expected it to be done while we wait… how crazy is that. Guess that is our big city mall mentality…“come back in an hour”. Not in Newnan…
Here is how they met the basic requirements…
Job was done on time and they spelled the name correctly.
It was reasonably priced.
They were open when they said they would be.
Here is how it could have been done better…
Could have matched the font to the other font on the plaque or at least told us they didn’t have the capability of doing that. It definately looks like it was not done when she won the honor.
So if you need trophies for your little league team or as a gag gift or other award, they have a good selection, but be patient and be specific about what style you want the engraving to be. They had a good selection of trophies available and looked like they could probably order other options from a catalog.
