We serve as consultants for Americans & Canadians traveling to another country to save 40−60% on Surgical, Medical, Dental and Cosmetic procedures. The industry is called Medical Tourism, and Global Surgery Network was one of the 1^st Accredited Facilitators in this industry.

More than 2 million patients travel outside the US every years to visit other countries for these planned procedures, and find some of the top medical hospitals and specialists in the world. We use only board certified physicians and specialists, and facilities that are JCI accredited. These are the same accreditations as in the US… in fact, many doctors in the US relocate outside the country to practice their specialty, and some of the finest overseas facilities are owned and operated by hospitals in the US.

Did you know there is a hospital operated by Johns Hopkins in Panama, The Mayo Clinic operates 3 overseas hospitals… even Harvard runs hospitals outside the country… and there are countless others.

History

Established in 2008.

Global Surgery Network Inc. started by a company (Mystical Journeys) that had been a wholesale group travel company, since 1995… marketing to spiritual leaders and ministers, that hosted groups to travel outside of the country. International Leisure Travel had been on the decline since 9/​11, and it became necessary to evolve into another aspect of travel. Medical Tourism was in it’s infancy, and we chose to associate with the Medical Tourism Association, and become leaders in the industry in facilitating medical, surgical, dental and cosmetic procedures, outside of the US.

The average savings is 40 — 60%, which includes travel expenses, and being joined by a family member or partner.

Why not take a week to recover on the beaches of Costa Rica, or resort areas in Mexico or Panama? These countries have facilities & doctors that have established their practice exclusively for patients that visit from outside their countries…

I am a Professional Engineer by education, and started a group wholesale travel company in 1995 as a sideline. I went fulltime with this leisure travel company in 1998, and we were one of the leaders in that industry until ⁹⁄₁₁.

Medical Tourism was in it’s infancy at the time, I took my experience as a leisure tour operator, and my partner who had been an RN, and started Global Surgery Network. We now operate 5 separate Medical Tourism sites, including Dental Beyond Borders, Surgical Travels, Last Chance Cancer, and Global Surgical Associates.

Traveling outside of the USA for a medical procedures WILL save you 40−60%, but it’s NOT a «do-​it-​yourself» project.
