The food was great, they needed to refresh the buffet more. The waitress that seated us, the table was not wiped clean, dishes still on table and the tip stayed on the table during our meal. The waitress seated us she did not return to check if we needed tea. She came to the table to get her tip when we were about to leave. I did not leave her a tip. Poor service.

On the way home for a day trip with the kids we stopped here. I thought it was odd to have to pay before putting my name on the waiting list. The next thing I noticed was tubs of dirty dishes in various areas. Surely these should be of highest priority to demo e from customer site. Drinks…seems like every where there was a shelf there was a pitcher… or several pitchers of drinks. These within easy access if any guest. Sorry… this is not acceptable in today’s world. After all… judging from how my service was… it was not there to help the service providers. Food…in…I give it to them… it was good. I enjoyed it. Kids…and adults… you do not put food on your plate and then try it at the buffet and return it to the like if food if you do not like it! Overall…with current management… a place to avoid. With management change with someone current in today’s industry… it could be fantastic.

Fried chicken, rutabagas, banana pudding — what’s not to like? And friendly staff to boot.

This was a pretty average buffet. One good thing is you could tell the food was home cooked or had that home cooked feeling. Not alot of options for a buffet the food was pretty average. Wasn’t good… wasn’t bad… just average. Mashed potatoes and fried chicken were above average! If I had to choose between this and golden corral I’d choose golden corral. This is a good spot to take your mom and dad or grand parents. Or if you get tired of golden corral and want something that seems more freshly prepared. I may go back again. Definitely wasn’t the worse, but after reading reviews on here, I expected much better.

This buffet has potential to be great. It’s a great location, most of the items on the buffet are delicious and the price is amazing. We were seated an hour before closing on a Sunday. Items on the buffet started running out, and continued to run out. The service was unattentive, and the management or servers were not apologetic or explaining the situation.

My wife and I was stuck at the cancer treatment center on our anniversary. I was receiving my chemo. Well the hospital found out it was our anniversary and made reservations for us. After I got my treatment done we went to our hotel room and showered and changed. The limo picked us up around 730 and took us there. We’ll we went in and there was a line but the lady said yall come on with me. Well there was our name on the table. We ate and had a pleasant time. The food was very good. Especially the fried green tomatoes. We are from Mobile al and I wish they’d build one here. We at least I go there evert would weeks and I can eat there if I want to them lol.

Decent southern cooking, good service and great price for a buffet are what earns this place the 3 stars. My family came in town on a sunday and decided to give this place a shot. Wish I knew before hand this was the after church get together in Newnan. This place was beyond packed and we had to wait 20 minutes for a seat. Most of the food was seasoned well especially the chicken(fried and baked) some was overcooked the country fried steak. The other choices seemed to be extremely greasy especially the dinner rolls which seemed to be filled with butter. However, if you’re used to that type of artery clogging cuisine you’ll be right at home. Ill be willing to give it another try in a few months on another day and when my body is cleansed of the grease.

First time at this restaurant and it was unlike most large chain buffet places. The best in a long time I was wanting some southern cooking and this place delivered and boy howdy! I was impressed! My wife even liked it and she does not care much for the southern veggies.

This is some great southern cooking. If you like great home style food this is your place. The fried green tomatoes are very good plus you have a good variety of choices each day. The selection changes daily but some item are there each day. I like to go on fish day and chicken liver days. Sunday has great souther style dressing and the fried chicken is great and served everyday. The salad bar is good and has very fresh items. The only thing is you must be patient it is so popular that the bar depleted quickly for two reasons large crowds and some people take portions like there will never be any more on the bar. I just wish people were more courteous not the restaurants fault they try to keep the bar stocked.

It was pretty good, better than I expected given past reviews. Food was hot and place was clean. Price wasn’t bad either. Better than other buffets. Service a little slow but decent.

Good food, fish on Friday is great. My 85 year old mom loves rutabaga, they have them often on the buffet. Her favorite place for fried green tomatoes. Wait staff is attentive, price is reasonable.

Price is right. Food is good. No ice cream? WTF? A few too many democrats for my tastes make up the clientele though.

I’m very familiar with Southern Food. We DON’T have any good soul food in San Diego, CA. I was pleasantly surprised at the variety of food with authentic flavor. From the greens, to fried chicken, to the ooohhh so yummy peach cobbler. Don’t forget the Sweet Iced Tea. I’ll be back tomorrow. Thank you for the service and the amazing food.

Worth it just for their fried green tomatoes! I am a Coweta customer that would drive to the original LaGrange location. So happy to have one closer and more convenient. Hands above the other buffet restaurants in Newnan!

Awful. Went there for lunch today. Most of the items were out and not refilled. What was there was tasteless such as the fried chicken and corn. Not worth the trip. Plenty of other eateries around.

This is one if my favorite places when traveling through to Atlanta from Calloway Gardens! The Fried Green Tomatoes & Rutabaga are awesome! The buffet is loaded with Southern Food. This is a must! Price $ 8.25 for brunch! Note: They don’t serve herbal teas or hot chocolate or they’d get 5 stars!

If you ever go and there happens to be a long wait, i recommend taking the time to try it out! in comparison to Golden Corral, there isn’t a lot of options, but the quality is much better. They truly focus on giving you the best options of ribs, fried chicken, fried steak, pastas, good salad bar, desert: banana pudding is delicious. Cabbage is one of my favorites there. Depending on which days you go, they may have different varieties. Now, the fried chicken is so succulent and juicy!(drools) Things i obsess over at the : Salad bar: potato salad, devil eggs, tuna pasta shells, Fried chicken Ribs Pasta dishes Cabbage mac n cheese once again it really varies at times, i only wish they had a website showing their daily menus. Cost: i believe after tax was $ 9ish

This was, hands down, the best Southern food buffet I’ve eaten in YEARS. I was totally amazed that my husband, who isn’t a fan of Southern cuisine, went back for seconds. The food was fresh, and hot and the green beans were NOT from a CAN! You have to pay BEFORE they take your name on the list. It cuts down on the sharing. And there’s a table time limit of 75 minutes so people don’t sit there for hours and stuff themselves. The price was less than $ 10 per person for Sunday lunch. I will be back. Can we go now?
