Universal Shoe Repair

This is my new go to for shoe repair! I had a new pair of boots covered with studs that the shaft was too tight on. He was able to stretch it out enough that I can wear it with jeans tucked in! No damage, just extra room. Unbelievable, they are true miracle workers! Very friendly and helpful, prices are great too. Go here and you won’t be sorry, just amazed!

On a last minute, right before the oversea trip, I remembered, that my favorite shoes have worn out hills. I called one place, they refused to do the same day.
This fantastic Universal shoe repair guy, on holiday eve, did not mind to stay 30 minutes over time, to help me out. Nice guy, good vibe. When I ll come back from my trip, I ‘ll dig in to find more things for repair. He is really, really nice guy.

I purchased brand new Prada boots on line, however when they arrived they were too tight in the ankle and café area. I was so bummed. I googled shoe repair locations and found this location. I brought my boots in for advice. They were able to stretch my boots in the right places. They did an A+ job. They now fit perfect. Thank you.

I know you are looking at these reviews and see a 5 start rating. It is true. I do not usually write reviews. I had two pair of shoes repaired and they look brand new and they are 5 years old. Fast service and great product.

I am taking my time to write this review because of how pleased I am from my experience at this shop. I got nail polish spilled on my brand new UGGs that I bought for New Years. I tried washing it with soap and a nail polish remover but it only made the stain to expand. I was very worried because I really needed my boots for my trip to Big Bear. I called a few different places but they were all busy for holidays and I didn’t have much time. My cousin recommended me this shop so I called and explained my situation. And wow I have to say that the guy who owns the shop is very kind and understanding. Even though he was very busy but still stayed a little extra to work on my shoes. I couldn’t be any happier to get my shoes back on the same day. My UGGs look brand new just as new as I bought them. I recommend everyone especially girls who get really worried about their comfy shoes and fancy bags to get it all fixed at this shop. «Shoes are Girl’s Best Friends» so make sure you give them the right care ladies :)

He is AMAZING. such a nice person. My whole family only goes here for repairs. Took my Louboutins here and he did a good job repairing the tip of the stiletto.

Rude and nasty person to deal with. Charged $ 12 for a horrible shoe shine. Too many better places to take your business to.

This place is awesome — will make any shoe, purse, or other leather accessory look like new. Seriously! And, the owner is so clever — take a project to him and he’ll figure out how to do it. We’ve been going here for years and years and there’s just no one like him!

Was here the other day to get my shoes to resole, and the service was just incredible. The owner «Joe» was very nice and polite, gave me professional and friendly service. The prices are also very good compared to other stores, every penny spent here was worth it. Highly recommend this place!

Had my favorite sandals break a strap and for only $ 20 they repaired them and reinforced all the other straps so it will last several years. They always do a great job.

I went in on a Friday morning looking to see what this unsuspecting man could do to my pair of thrashed Louboutins. When I say thrashed, I mean I have treated these shoes horrendously. I have walked far too long down Hollywood Blvd in them, tried to run from cover to cover in Phoenix thunderstorms with them submerged in water, I have even worn them on gravel. Yes, gravel. These puppies were in no condition to further make it seem as if I had money anymore, which is the reason I was going in to get them repaired.
When I presented the saddest pair of red soles to this gentleman, he didn’t even judge me (from what I could tell, which is all that matters). He simply told me what was going to do to get the shoes looking somewhat new. The plastic surgery list was as follows: reconstruct the toe (since it was pretty much just a worn leather sad face emoji at this point), put a new red sole on it (due to the fact that the red paint was completely worn off), place new tips on the heels (did I not mention gravel?), and polish them (I am disgusting). I was quasi devastated when he said he wasn’t going to make any promises about the finished product, but it was only going to cost me $ 34, which is minimal compared to the shoes. I put the fate of my Loubs in his hands and said I wanted to pick them up Tuesday.
Well, ladies and gents, today was that Tuesday. Upon entering the store this day, I was greeted with the biggest smile from this kind gentleman because *drum roll please* THESE COOKIES LOOKED FRESH OUT OF THE OVEN. I am not talking «Oh Karen, these old things? I’ve only worn them twice to brunch with Phillip» new looking. I am talking «Saks might have taken them back» new looking. He had done the impossible.
This man is a magician. An artist of leather. I am very happy with my experience at this store and I have already group texted all the ladies about this pot of leathery gold at the end of the shoe rainbow.
I never asked his name, but I think he is my new spirit animal. If you couldn’t tell, I highly recommend this place.

Excellent work and in good time. Took a couple of dress shoes in the morning and picked them up same day looking good as new. Heel replacement and a great shine, thanks guys.

I’ve been having my shoes repaired here for the last few years. I’m always shocked by the state of them when I pick them up. I drop off shoes that look as though they should be thrown out and by the time I pick them up, they look brand new. The price is good and the service is friendly. I couldn’t recommend them more.
