A friend told me about this company and I had them come out for my annual air conditioner-​heater maintenance. I could not be happier with my decision. The technician was so professional, knowledgeable, clean and careful with my floor and walls. He answered all my questions and was very respectful. What a pleasure to have a company made by honest people. If you are looking for a reliable company to help with your air conditioner and heater, do not hesitate to call them.

Five star service. Yesterday my air stopped working during our 100degree plus heat storm. I called SCCA knowing they were closed as it was Sunday but I wanted to get my name on the list. I received a call back at 7:10 before they officially opened and the r repairman was at my house at 8:00. Instead of telling me my 26 year old unit needed to be replaced. He simply replaced a part for only $ 300 and went on his way. If you need AC service call bob Lucas at Santa Clarita custom air!

Bob Lucas and his team are the best! After purchasing a new town home a few years back, my ac/​heating unit broke and I need a whole new unit! Bob and his team worked quickly and efficiently in installing a new unit for me. They were fair and honest and I would never ask anyone but them to come back for any issues I may have in the future! They are the type of people you send to your moms house! Highly recommend them!

The team at Santa Clarita custom air took great care of us and did an incredibly clean job in our home. They replaced our old furnace and added in air conditioning. Bob Lucas and his staff saved the day for our home in the 100 degree heat. They gave us a quote which was fair and reasonable. They repaired our AC within one day and all staff were on time and professional. They explained exactly what the problem was and solved the issue. The staff had to work in the extreme heat and still had a smile on their faces. We highly recommend this company. Thank you Bob!

They put in a new furnace and condenser in our home. The men were professional, nice and very clean. They finished in a timely manner. We were very pleased with their service. We had several companies come out and they seemed to be the most thorough. We did have a minor issue but they were out the next day and it was fixed in a matter of minutes. :)

These guys told me I needed a new furnace for $ 3400. Got a second opinion from All Valley Heating & Air. They determined that I needed a $ 15 part. Bottom line: Furnace is now running like new.

This is the 2nd time Santa Clarita Custom Air has saved me! Replaced the motor in my AC compressor 2 summers ago, then the furnace was acting up this week. Neil showed up RIGHT ON TIME and had the problem diagnosed & repaired in 30 mins. Works better than it has in 5 yrs! Thank you!

This company has a lot of class and professionalism. They quickly identified and repaired a problem that had left me completely and totally frustrated for 90 hot summer days as my AHS service provider fumbled around not fixing the problem. AHS is the worst company in the world and it’s service providers are on the same level, atrocious. SCCA was an amazing breath of fresh air. The entire staff was helpful and they were able to get many parts under a manufacturers warranty. I was extremely impressed with their customer service and thoroughness. They were very interested in not only solving my problem, but also making sure I would have no other problems for a long time. The world needs more companies like this.

I had a technician come to my house to troubleshoot why my compressor fan wasn’t spinning. After finding out that some of the wires got disconnected, he said that there was a short in the compressor, said that I needed a new one, and quoted me $ 3200 for the replacement. Sorry, getting technical — he said that the compressor input was shorted to ground, and then showed me that the resistance from the input of the compressor to ground was 0.8Mohms. That is NOT a short, and a drop in the bucket of the current that the unit will normally draw when turned on. When I asked him about it, he dismissed me, and said «whatever you say» (implying that my question was stupid and that I didn’t know what I was talking about).
I told him that I would not be replacing the unit, and sent him on his way. Later I checked the unit myself, and when I reconnected the wires it worked just fine. If I listened to the incompetent technician who doesn’t understand electronics, I would be out $ 3200. I will not be using Santa Clarita Custom Air again.

Super helpful, courteous, and knowledgeable.
Bob and his team took the time to explain the issue I had, the various causes for it and the best solution to ensure that I was well informed before I made a decision.
I called them for a same day appointment as I have a little girl who was fighting a fever at the time and it was zero problem for them to come over and fix my AC ASAP.
The price was also incredibly fair and I will most certainly be calling them for any future AC needs from here on out.
I highly recommend them!

I read the one review on Santa Clarita Custom Air and was wondering why they only had one review if they are that good. I hired them to put a new Air conditioning system in my house (as it never had central air). They (Bob Lucas and a technician) came out within one day and gave me a quote. Bob said the job should take three days and guaranteed that I would be happy with the work they perform. The system was installed within three days as promised and works fantastic. The technicians cleaned up each day, didn’t leave any dirt laying around, and were very professional. Bob states that customer service and satisfaction is his most important goal. He accomplished both on my job. I would recommend Santa Clarita Custom Air to anyone including my relatives that need air conditioning work done. I only wish they did other work like bathroom and kitchen remodeling. It is extremely hard to find honest and reliable contractors, Bob Lucas is both honest and reliable.

Professional from start to finish. We had a problem (with the roof on our house) arise during installation and they offered several solutions, including letting us bring our own roof guy in. The owner Bob Lucas personally came to our house a few times. Great guy! When they left after the job, my property was cleaner than when they arrived. Price was the best we found and they finished ahead of schedule, even with the roof problem we discovered.
