I live in complex where Pacific Vista does the maintenance and it is very well kept up and have never seen any of the other issues from the previous reviews. I’m reviewing because I had some issues with a HOA tree impeding into my yard and Jim Habeger himself came out to look at and access the situation. Jim told me that it was a very small issue and easy fix. He had his guys out there the next day, took care of it and they hauled away the branch and did not throw it away in our bins. I would highly recommend Pacific Vista for maintenance.

Everything in Brendan P’s review is what happened at our complex, too. For a second I thought Brendan might have been from my complex.
If your service day falls on a holiday, Habeger/​Pacific Vista simply does not come out that week. So that leaves a two week gap from the last time the landscape was serviced to the next time Habeger comes out. In Santa Clarita summers, you can’t let two weeks go by without gardening service. And Habeger never gave us a discount for the week they didn’t show up.
If your contract with Habeger/​Pacific Vista requires them to haul away any clippings, make sure they do. They were supposed to haul away the clippings at our complex, yet their guys always filled up our trash bins with the clippings. They always denied this until one of the homeowners took pictures of them doing it.
They always added a fee (I forgot how much it was, but I think it was around $ 30) to our monthly bill for weed killer. When we questioned them about it, they said if we didn’t use the weed killer, they would have to charge us more money because it was easier to spray the weeds than to pull them by hand or whack them down. I know we asked them to show us where they were spraying all this weed killer, becasue we didn’t believe the landscaping needed THAT much spraying and we kind of didn’t trust that they were spraying anything, but I’m not sure if they ever did.
We finally gave Habeger/​Pacific Vista a 30-​day notice to terminate service. They still have two weeks left with our complex. This is how crappy their customer service (and attitude) is. We’re having problems with our sprinklers only coming on once a day. Our rep, Kerry, was called by our manager. I don’t remember exactly what Kerry said, but it was along the lines of, well, we’re gone in two weeks, why do I care? Nice.

This family owned company has been in business over 25 years and has hundreds of happy customers throughout LA and Ventura Counties. I recommend them highly and appreciate their dedication to quality and hard work.
