Gregory Jenkins was born in Van Nuys, California. During his father’s United States Air Force career, Dr. Jenkins and his two brothers enjoyed the opportunity to experience living with their family in a variety of locales, including Okinawa, Japan; Hawaii; Georgia; New York; Texas; Mississippi; and Washington, D.C.

After moving to Newhall in 1966 and earning his Associate Degree in the first graduating class at College of the Canyons, Dr. Jenkins transferred to UCLA. He earned his medical degree at Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri, and returned to California to complete his residency training in the UCLA Internal Medicine Program. He began his family practice with offices in Newhall. Dr. Jenkins completed an additional Occupational Medicine residency training program at the School of Medicine, University of Cincinnati.

In addition to all the other great things that have been said about Dr. Jenkins, let me add he will help you feel calm, and take the time to listen to you. He is a good choice in many ways, but also, if English is not your primary language, or you haven’t been to see a doctor in some time, he and his staff will be supportive and find a way to put you at ease. His office is warm and comfortable, and not huge, overwhelming and anonymous. He or his staff will follow up after your visit to make sure your particular medical issues or questions are being resolved. And one more thing, you don’t need an appointment to see Dr. Jenkins, so if you decide you need medical treatment or advice now, you can go to his office and see him almost every day of the week during standard business hours.

Dr. Gregory Jenkins is the consummate physician! I recently moved to Valencia and didn’t know anyone. I was having severe pain in my arm and had no idea what was causing it. I found the office of Dr. Jenkins on the Internet and located nearby. What a pleasant surprise!
I walked in without an appointment and found his staff to be kind, helpful and compassionate. I was quickly seen by the doctor and had a diagnosis within minutes. Dr. Jenkins is a very well trained and compassionate doctor – I certainly lucked out in finding him and consider him to be my doctor when I am in need. I can understand why he is Santa Clarita’s number one doctor – do yourself a favor and go to him. I am definitely a fan!

Greg has been my physician for at least 20 years. He’s the best there is and has always given me the best care and treatment. His new office is very clean and cheerful, and his staff is top notch. One time I left my card at the office and they drove it over to me! He maintains an outstanding professionalism and at the same time is very easygoing and approachable with any problem or question. I highly recommend him and his practice to all of my loved ones.

Greg Jenkins is absolutely the best!!! I drive all the way from the westside to see him. His new office is BEAUTIFUl!!! Wow!!! Most stylish doctors office I’ve ever seen!!! Too cute!!! Beyond that, Greg has integrity and knows what he is doing. He is a rare find. He has helped me so many times through the years calling in prescriptions while of course I had to get sick on vacation! I liked the review here that says when you find a Doctor, you go wherever he goes. That certainly applies to Dr. Jenkins. When my family and I walked in to see Dr. Jenkins in 1988, there was no turning back.
The best I can possibly say is that I believe Dr. Jenkins genuinely cares about his practice, his patients, and the Santa Clarita Valley. His new office is about 50 steps from the old office, in the same building, on Lyons Avenue. This new office is such a step up from the dismal atmosphere that had overtaken the old Doctor’s Office.
This is a great place for families or single people. Avoid the huge medical facilities, if you can. You’ll be as well taken care of here as any place you’ve ever been to!
