This is a great hike to start or end your day. 45 – 60 minutes long depending on how quickly you trek. It’s about a 2 mile loop. It has a nice little climb, 364 ft if my MapMyHike app is correct. And the best part, it’s an excuse to be outside. Towsley Canyon offers a few trails to take and this is the shortest one. I am looking forward to trying out some of the others. This was the only one we had time for. To get there take the main trail head from the parking lot(s). It’s a paved road that leads to a LA Parks & Rec building, a live in residence, and a public bathroom. As you approach the structures, you will find a footbridge to your left. If you take that and stay on the path you will find the marker for the Don Mullally trail. Dogs and children were amongst us the day we hiked so it’s good for everybody.
