History

Established in 1986.

Famous Pizza 1^st got started with 2 brothers (my father and uncle) that owned another famous pizza shop in a small town in massachusetts. They made there main voyage into newburyport in 1986, with the purchase of a great land mark in newburyport (the 3 roads) an ice cream shop at the time called Mr. k’s. It was renovated it into a pizzeria and sub shop and named it famous pizza. Since i was a young kid 5 – 10 years old on weekends would go to work with my dad and would fold pizza boxes sweep and pretty much bug my dad and drivers the rest of the time. I started making pizzas around 11 years old and very much grew into the family bussiness. During that time I was working hard at learning the responsibilities and getting a good feel what it really takes to run a pizza store. My father and uncle after so many years working hard decided to retire. In 2002, I was 20 years old, fresh, driven and ready to put famous pizza on the map. since then I have and will continue to build famous pizza.

Since taking over famous pizza from my father in 2002. I made alot of changes to the menu. From old school simple menu to a new generation style menu. Adding alot of new items like wraps, pannin’s, homemade soups, and a much upper scale selective menu, From pretty much growing up in newburyport and meeting alot of my great loyal customers from such a young age is definitly my favorite part of the bussiness. I am a big peoples person so i tend to talk alot :).Im also a perfectionist and love to eat. So everything has to be amazing to taste. Good is not good enough. Wow has to come out of my mouth to know it tastes amazing. So thats pretty much how i always added new items to the famous menu. I also like to go to alot of food shows and get better ideas and new trends for the famous menu. I also work alot and alway at the store making sure everything is always a great experience for you. That comes from my perfectionist problem :) well got to go make a pizza now hope to see you soon :)
