This place is awesome. I am fairly tall guy with long arms and an athletic build, and have had all kinds of challenges in the past finding jackets and sport coats that fit. If the arms and shoulders fit, it has enough girth to saddle a horse with; if it fits around the chest and waist, the arms would(maybe) accomodate Peter Dinklage(you are awesome Peter!). You get the idea. A Little Bit of Naples in Newburyport has easily a couple hundred jackets and suits in such a huge range of sizes and styles that it is hard not to find something that fits. Looking for a beige tweed jacket with the left arm 2 inches shorter than the right? Good chance they have one. Not kidding. I was blown away. I left with 6 or 7 jackets after spending an hour in the store. And a pair of wingtips to boot(I’m a size 13EEE, and they had something that fit the bill). The best part? I walked out of there spending about $ 250 all-in. Unbelievable. I’m going to wait a bit and give the inventory a chance to turn over and then head back. They have another shop on Congress St. in Portsmouth, NH also — the selection is quite a bit smaller, but definitely worth checking out if you are in the area. Employees were very friendly and helpful at both locations.

What a hidden gem! I walked into this consignment store for men and bought at least five items. Each item looked as though it was brand new and the prices are amazing! I would recommend this store to all my friends and family. Very impressed!

Excellent vintage menswear in impeccable condition. On a random day trip to Portsmouth, my friends and I stumbled into this little gem, ran our fingers through racks and racks of designer shirts, blazers, etc. Perused the vast selection of Allen Edmonds, Prada’s, Gucci’s, found a gorgeous brand new Salvatore Ferragamo bag… I was a little jealous they didn’t have a women’s section. This shop is the result of owners who travel to and from Florida, curating some of the best pieces from estate sales and people who, you know, wore that $ 5,000 suit once and can’t be seen in it ever again. We were shown a $ 9,000 pair of leather shoes. Of course, being sold for a fraction of the original value. If you love shopping for unique men’s vintage pieces, this shop is perfection. Friendly staff, and basically feels like shopping in a very wealthy man’s giant walk-in closet.

Who said«Never buy retail?» Barbara Streisand? A little Bit of Naples fits the bill. One of the few men’s consignment shops I’ve ever seen, the owners focus on high end men’s clothing at JCP prices. The owners are very much focused on product and customer service. They focus their search for clothing in Naples, Florida, thus the name. I’ve never been to Naples but they sure know how to but clothing! I’ve purchased almost new trousers, dress shirts, and shoes that I hesitate to look at because of the retail prices. The shirts may have the original owners name written in them but they are perfectly fine. We will drive from our home in the Merrimack Valley just to peruse their selection. The store is in the Tannery Shopping Center, an easy walk from downtown. Lots of great places to eat and the best bakery in New England(see my review of Eat Cake). If you have a hard time finding clothes for your man, check out A Little Bit of Naples.

This place is adorable. It’s a newer store owned by an accountant who just wanted to do something else on the side. We met the owner when he brought in more shirts by the brand my dad likes. He was very nice and funny. The woman working at the store was really nice — we talked for a long time. She too was helpful. My dad found this store first, obviously since it’s a reclaimed(used) men’s clothing store. It’s got lots of high end brands you would think of as well as some obscure hard to find brands. My dad is obsessed with the Robert Graham shirts and they had a bunch. The owner even brought more of these shirts after the woman at the store called him. Unfortunately none of them fit my dad but that was still nice of them to cater to my dad so much. The shirts normally go for $ 180 new but they were selling them here for $ 79 used I think which is a good deal. They also had a few used Ben Sherman shirts which I was thinking about getting for my dad. Anyway if you like men’s clothing, particularly good high end brands that normally you couldn’t afford to get — come here and check it out. They also have coats, sweaters, belts, ties, and hats. It’s a nice local business, friendly staff, and in the awesome Tannery shopping center. After visiting there store there are other cool stores to visit + good places to eat!
