California Pools – Thousand Oaks

California Pools just finished our pool and we couldn’t be happier. They were a real pleasure to work with. Mike Exstrom and Mike Smith were both extremely responsive both in the proposal and construction phases. They were a great team. We received a proposal that included elaborate computer-​drafted images. Mike Exstrom was very collaborative in helping us design the pool we wanted. Once we decided to start, both Mikes met with us to explain the schedule and the requirements for the various phases of construction. They also clearly outlined the payment schedule. We were told the pool would be completed in approximately 3 months and it was. We highly recommend California Pools for anyone wanting a solid experience in building a new pool.

From start to finish, our experience with Mike Exstrom and Mike Smith has been wonderful. They performed above all our expectations, and our pool is beautiful! I can’t say enough good about both of them, personally, as well as professionally. Everything was explained at the start and they followed through will all they promised. It’s not often you can be completely satisfied with a contractor, but Mike and Mike are definitely the exceptions. I highly recommend them and their team.

Mike Exstrom and his team did a great job designing a pool and spa to meet our families needs. They were extremely efficient and professional. Our project manager, Mike Smith was great to work with and he was very responsive. We have had numerous compliments on the quality and beauty of the finished product.

When we decided we were building a pool we interviewed over 10 companies. After meeting with Mike Extrom both my husband and I felt we met our guy. Mike was sweet, easy to talk to and made us feel comfortable. He met us with Mike Smith the project manager and everything continued to flow smoothly. Mike was always prompt about returning calls and texts and helped clear any questions we had. The job was done professionally and beautifully with top trades men. Our pool turned out just as we hoped and more beautiful than we imagined. It was done right in time for summer… a week ahead of schedule! I would choose these guys again in a heart beat and highly recommend them to anyone who is ready for a pool. Great team, great crew, professional, courteous, on time and considerate in every way! We had our pool built by California Pools and it was a super easy process! They started when they said, f finished when promised and we’re always available for questions and fine tuning after completion. We have done a lot of home improvement projects and this was by far the easiest. Definitely recommend California Pools!

California Pools were great! I did a lot of research and it was important I was comfortable interacting with a team I knew I’d be interacting with over a few months. CP and the complete team (including Mike S.) were there before, during, and after. Everything was timely and consistent. I recommend these guys to everyone and still keep in touch. Nice job guys! We absolutely love the pool and spa!

Great warranty service. They are a rare builder that responds to warranty requests. Warranty manager Mike S. was quick to respond and got our issue resolved rapidly and efficiently. Glad we had California build our pool.
