I just came in to pick up my pizza that was told to me over the phone that it would be ready in 20 – 25 mins. I got there thirty mins later and was still waiting. the girl at the counter, I believe her name was Emily. had her two friends sitting in the corner where they would continue to talk bad about customers who were walking in very loudly at that… which doesnt look well for the business as well as poor little emily, as this is probably her first job. I have had much better service when Mckenna is working, so yay for Mckenna. Emily may need some help :/

Can’t go wrong with $ 2 slices! They even cut the slices in half to make it easier to eat. Huge portions, and delicious pizza. Plenty of seating inside, and a few bug benches outside. They charge for ranch, but for 50¢, it’s worth it, and it’s sooo good. Don’t forget to dab the pizza with napkins, or you’ll be swimming in the insane amount of grease from the cheese.

Very good little neighborhood pizza place! We had a Sicilian pizza(thick crust) and it did not disappoint us… we enjoyed everything about it. Last but not least, we had a cannoli for dessert that was really good… especially for two bucks.

We love Tony’s. Tasty pizza, friendly staff, and prompt delivery. Just as good as it was 20 years ago!

Love Tonys pizza! Their pizza is the best in town, huge slices and always coupons available. They also sell by the slice which is nice if you want a quick lunch. Prices are affordable and the food is delicious. I did have a sandwich which was average, so I would stick with pizza. Never had any problems with my orders, always delicious!

just so you know — ordered a sausage/mushroom pizza at 845 — told we had to pick up – ok – picked up and received a black olive and mushroom pizza! So bad !! no one there to answer the phone either and correct order — such BS — you are in such a hurry to get out on Friday night you screwed up the order — no remorse either! Been going here for years — appears mgmt has either changed or doesn’t care — staff was short rude and not at all customer oriented. Salad dressing was also wrong… you guys need a tune up!

Tonys is just great. It’s delicious and always a good call. Their wings are very good(surprised by these actually. Really good), their subs are awesome. Their lasagna is a cheesey masterpiece. It is a great local spot. I wish my hometown had a Tony’s Pizza. The owner and staff are great and I love making a stop here when I’m in town. Also, slices are huge and cheap. If you want pizza in Newbury park, go here.

As an ex New Yorker I have to say this pizza reminds me of what I had as a kid. Who remembers 15 cents a slice? Here at Tony’s the slices are huge! Friendly management. The pasta and salads are also wonderful. Short on atmosphere but this is not a boutique pizzeria. Just great food at a great price.

What a great pizza and pasta! I ordered a Hawaiian Pizza, a cold cut sandwich and cannelloni. The pizza was perfectly baked, with plenty of cheese and toppings. Even had it the day after and the day after next, was still great. I shared the Cannelloni, we both fell in love with it! The cold cuts sandwich was delicious and had the sauce on the side. Great experience and prompt delivery(was actually 20 minutes sooner than quoted and it was lunch time) Great service on the phone too I must add.

The pie had too much dough and did appear to be cooked enough. The salad dressing didn’t have enough flavor. Too bad because it’s a convenient location.

BBQ Chicken pizza is a winner, and you can get it in any crust you like, as long as it’s medium. The only independent variable is how long the pizza is baked(longer yields crisper, at least). As others have commented, the«slice» is a great deal: $ 2 for a quarter of a 14″ pizza. As far as I can tell, no more coupons. Even though Tony’s has locations in Camarillo and Agoura Hills, the Newbury Park location doesn’t accept their coupons, and doesn’t have any of its own. I guess business is good enough. The college-age counter girl is very pleasant, but the(somewhat) older woman is much more business-like — no idle chit chat at all. Part of a positive restaurant experience(if even briefly during a pizza pickup) is a pleasant interaction with the staff… I live nearby, and have made it a habit to pick up rather than depend on somewhat variable success with delivery.

My car battery died and it would be 24 hours before i could get a jump so i was stuck in my house with not much food. This was my first time ordering from Tony’s. I got a Tonys Submarine sandwich, garlic bread, antipasto salad and a cannoli. The sandwich was excellent! It was like an antipasto salad piled onto really good bread. Since i got a large one, it was enough for my lunch and dinner. The next day, i ate the cannoli for breakfast and the salad for lunch. I got both ranch and italian dressing(because sometimes pizza places have the worst«golden» italian or cheap ranch). I have to say i loved both dressings. The italian seemed to be homemade. Its vinegar-heavy(probably red wine and/or apple cider) which i LOVE. It’s exactly the type of dressing i hope to get whenever i go to a new place. The ranch was smooth and pretty much perfect, although the italian goes best with the antipasto salad. My garlic bread was yummy, too. I just had 24 hours of Tonys… i’d do it again. Oh and the lady who took my order was nice and the delivery person was nice. One last thing, because they put vinegar/oil on the sandwich, there was oil everywhere. The bag was seeping with oil because the sandwich is so big, it doesn’t fit in the bag itself. But i just had a lot of napkins nearby and grubbed my lil heart out.

I have been coming to Tony’s since I was a kid… their food is very well prepared and full of flavor. When I am craving italian«feel good food», there is only one place to go, Tony’s New York Pizza.

Don’t want to cook tonight? No problem. Come here and order dinner. Pick up the phone and order delivery. Maybe the family special? Pasta dinner? A slice of pizza? Good food and a great value. I must admit I was reluctant to come to this hole in the wall restaurant. So glad I tried it. My lasagne was good. The entire dinner for $ 7.99 was a lot of food. I only ate half of everything. The salad fresh and the ranch was yummy. Garlic bread was soft and buttery. Definitely not diet food. My honey had a sandwich. The 12 inch ham and cheese. He could only eat half of it. The sandwich was loaded with meat. If you don’t like oil and vinegar in your sandwich make sure you let them know. The place was busy on a Thursday evening around 7pm. Most people were picking up takeout. There is indoor and outdoor seating. Free delivery in their delivery area. Don’t expect a fancy place. Just expect good food and a good value. Some reviews are mixed on the pizza but I will need to come back and find out for myself. Our service was fine, no rude employees as others have stated.

I’ve been coming here since I was a kid. I use to come twice a day back in the day. They still make a good pizza, and I’m a fan for life.

Mostly rating low because of exceptionally bad customer service. Very short and unprofessional on the phone and it doesn’t change in person. Pizza is good. Better than Dominos and Pizza Hut, if you can deal with the bad customer service.

Last resort pizza. I’ve come here on and off for 15 years. The one thing I can always count on with this place is: The inconsistent pizza, terrible customer service, a teenage girl with a bad attitude taking your order, and really bad pizza crust. If you’re into this, then you should come here and be dissatisfied.
