I am not sure what they have going on at this liquor store but I went in for two waters on 01÷11÷16 at 11:45am and gave the guy a $ 20. He rang me up like gave him a $ 5.00. I said I gave him a $ 20 and he shrugged it off and gave me the correct change. I asked him what the deal was with the register and he told me to «F*#k» off. I do not appreciate dishonest businesses, and I do not appreciate being told to «F*#k» off. I was in a hurry so I did not make a stink out of it. They are over priced and rude. The guy working there should be fired. I will never go back even though they are 2 mins from my house. Shame on them!

This was my go to liquor store for a couple of years about 15 years ago when a friend lived up the street, albeit back then it was mostly domestic beer in cans. Coming back from main street in Ventura tonight we stopped by for a bottle of wine, feeling a bit nostalgic perhaps. There were two twenty somethings working at the counter that started following us as soon as we came in. We are an upper middle class couple that were sharply dressed(if I don’t say myself), so at least they do not discriminate. One followed and asked if I needed help, I said, looking for a Champagne split, he looked around and said«uhhhmmm, looks like there are some here». I kept looking as he shadowed me, and found cold Champagne in a cooler, I advised him that there was cold Champagne splits in the fridge, he said«oh yeah. there are some there too». So… this guy followed us around this empty store and had no knowledge of what they had. We bought a bottle of red and when he rang us up he asked if we needed a bag for the wine, I said«most stores go ahead and put wine in bags so let’s get a bag». He bagged us up and we were on our way. Why the eff would anyone ever go to this store, go anywhere else. The people working there were like stupid rent a cops. I do not mind getting followed around by someone offering service, but these two buttheads acted like they were the CIA, ready to catch some evil people stealing some Pinot. No thanks. Got plenty of money to spend at other places.

Huge selection of beers. Nice freindly staff. What more to say. This is better than your average corner liquor store. Wish a place existed like this in my town.

After hiking in Santa Paula Canyon Falls, we had to look for the closest liquor store. Stagecoach Liquor is such a cute store with everything you need! From drinks to even cold sandwiches and food. The guy that was working was nice and helpful. Plus, there’s even a bathroom inside!

Stagecoach is a GEM for Craft Beer Lovers. Mike is awesome and knows his craft beers. I enjoy going in there and like that they offer alot of Local Breweries. Easy access lot to pull in and out of. I find lots of liquor stores tucked away. This is right off the 101. Great prices too.

Great service, great selection and good prices. Staff is always friendly, fun & helpful. They’ve really got a great beer selection. The wine I’d say is better than normal for this type of shop. Good selection of low end and a surprising selection of very high end. I’ve only bought a few bottles of liquor here and they had the standard things I asked for. Easy parking. Easy to get on and off the 101 fwy.

A great selection of microbrew, totally unexpected from looking at the outside of the place which looks like sort of a simple cheap liquor store. Well worth visiting to see what they have in stock. Funniest part, the ping pong balls on sale at the counter.

We’ve been buying our keg from this place for at least 3 years. I’ve lived in NP since 1993 and it’s the place to go for your quick liquor fix, but it’s not shady or nasty, it’s historic! And you WILL be tempted by the smell of In-n-Out Burger next door. Be strong… or go get a burger when you’re done at Stagecoach.

If there is one thing I truly miss about living in suburban California, it’s by far the convenience stores. Seriously, my local Brooklyn deli(or Bodega for our Spanish amigos) seems to limit their offerings to overpriced Budweiser, generic deodorant, phone cards, and cat litter. If there is one convenience store that has consistently set the standard for all others, it is Stagecoach Liquors. Since I was a little shaver, Stagecoach has been my hometown go-to for basically everything I need to physically survive. Buy-one-get-one cigarette deals, CHECK. DIY chili dogs full of accoutrements, CHECK. Easy access adult area, sans harassment for perusing, CHECK. Once I even got a keg here and didn’t return it for two weeks — they totally let it slide! Sharon R. brings up a good point though: Be warned that the life-size wooden Indian is not real. I repeat, he is not real. Don’t follow in my footsteps by trying to fight him«because he looked at me funny».

Whoo-hoo I’m the first to review this place! I don’t know what we’d do without Stagecoach Liquors. This place is a treasure in «Nu-Po». Extensive and unique wine selection, exquisite and interesting variety of liquors(including absinthe), smokes, porn mags, hot sauce and other convenient grocery essentials, etc. We are always met with prompt, friendly service, and the old-skool pics of T.O. and N.P. from the early days are always interesting to look at. If you’re drunk as an Irishman when you walk in on a late-night run, however, beware of the fake cowboys sitting ’round the place. You’ll be convinced they’re real and they might startle you. Not that I’m speaking from personal experience or anything. ;-) Oh, and you can’t go wrong with Stolichnaya jugs *always* on sale for $ 25.99!
