This is what our customers tell us is important to them, and this is what we’re all about. We are one of the few remaining bakeries that still makes everything from scratch, right here in our bakery. We know exactly where our naturally-​farmed, pesticide-​free wheat is grown, and even grind our own whole grain flour fresh everyday; how cool is that?

We use only wholesome, natural ingredients that your grandmother would recognize, and you can pronounce. Without preservatives or dough conditioners, we still can guarantee the freshness of our whole grain breads for a full week.

Everyone knows the best sandwiches start with the best bread, and that’s exactly what we offer for lunch — freshly sliced quality meats and cheeses and fresh veggies piled between slices of our freshly baked bread, sandwiches and panini’s are offered from 11am — 3pm.

We make bread, sandwiches, muffins, scones, cookies, granola, and more. WE CAN CATER YOUR NEXT MEETING TOO!

Why isn’t this chain more popular? Every single time we head up to the Conejo Valley, without fail, we stop in here. If we lived up there, we’d be in once a week.

Have been to the Temecula location and this place rocks too! The variety of breads and rolls is huge even though the bakery is not. Great little gem tucked away in a strip mall. If I lived closer it would be dangerous, but in a good way! Highly recommend!

Lunch is pretty good but I recommend the breakfast. The food is very much like a home cooked meal. The breakfast portions are more then enough. Omelette are the best. The soups are a must if you go for the lunch hour. Usually I get a half sandwich and a soup. Sometimes on Mondays they have a prime rib sandwich special I thinks it’s right around $ 14.00 comes with a side and I think a drink.

Hangin’ out in my old stomping grounds of Newbury Park this weekend, and we returned to Great Harvest Bread Company… haven’t been there since moving away several years ago. Once I walked back in, it reminded me just how much I miss this place. Always very fresh and very tasty breads, along with scones, muffins, bar and other delectable items. What I like about this place is that they have their old standby bread choices… things they make every day of the year… but they also have rotating seasonal breads. For instance, at Halloween, there’s an abundance of breads, muffins and scones with pumpkin flavor, apple pie, cinnamon, things along those lines. For St. Patty’s Day, they bake Irish soda bread. They put out a monthly calendar and list everything they’ll be producing on a daily basis… and it definitely changes. One of my year-​round favorites in the cinnamon swirl bread, but they were out of it today. We bought an Italian herb focaccia instead, which we haven’t tried yet, but it smells so fragrant. Something that I learned awhile back… show up early after they open, so you will be able to buy what you came in for. If you wait too long on any given day, they’ll be out of it… as I have found to be the case far too often. They run out of things for a reason… they are THAT good !!

Haven’t tried the sandwiches, but have bought numerous fresh loaves through the years. Very high quality bread. However, it’s a bit pricey. I like their bread for special events/​holidays. I always get their Irish soda bread for St. Patrick’s Day and it’s great. One year, I bought my Irish soda bread from a grocery bakery and I will never do that again. It was too salty. Their focaccia and cinnamon pull apart loaves are great too.

Love this place! It smells sooo good and everyone is ridiculously friendly. The muffins are delicious and I have to stop myself from getting one of every kind, every time I go in. They’re rarely busy in the mornings so if you’re craving a coffee+baked good before work, you can avoid the line at the Starbucks around the corner.

I had never encountered such overt racism until today. The elderly lady displayed such rudeness to me just because I was not a white customer. First, I happen to be next in line and she purposely asked who was next and all the other female customers said I was. Then, I asked her for the focaccio bread and she said they don’t have any. She told me they go by the day of the week even though the focaccio bread said daily. I then asked her for recommendations. I wanted to get some bread for my kids. She didn’t have any. I asked her if I could try a bread. She gave me a crust. This was my first time there and I had invited my husband for lunch there. I noticed my husband who is caucasian was treated with friendliness and etc. My husband even noticed that she was very rude to me. ****Bottom line: Bread is ok. Nothing special. I still like Menochino and corner bakery much much better. If you are not a white customer, don’t go there they treat you like trash***************************************

Fresh bread, is there anything better? So many to choose from! The cinnamon swirl bread makes great French toast! The pumpkin chocolate chip loaf is delicious! The breakfast blast is amazing and the whole grain goodness. It’s all yummy! Oh and for the holidays the rolls are the bomb! I’m glad I don’t live closer or I would be here all the time!

Their scones are delish and super heathy! Theres bot a single bread I haven’t loved and their sandwiches are fresh to order! Closed On Sunday but I appreciate that so their employees have a day off also! Worth it for anything I have bought!

I bought a loaf of Challah from the COC Farmers Market today. The bread is delicious and I am very pleased! It is a good sized loaf and what we didn’t finish for dinner tonight will be used for French toast tomorrow morning. I also bought a peach pie that was hands down the best peach pie I have tasted. I am so happy that I found a place for good bread and reasonably priced! I am now looking forward to visiting again on Sunday for my next loaf — which might have to be the cheddar garlic!

Great harvest always comes through their breads and snacks are incredibly tasty. The staff is very friendly and courteous. We have been getting their breads and treats for all of our events for years now and they never disappoint. If you need bread for Thanksgiving a special event or just for a good morning breakfast make sure you check them out they’ve got the best prices and best breads in town thanks for the great job you guys do.

Great home made fresh bread. I love that they offer you samples of 5 different breads when you walk in. I love, love love, the Cheddar sourdough is filled with cheese, and am hooked on their Chocolate bread. I suppose if I keep telling myself that I’m snacking on bread rather than cake, I deserve another slice?
The sandwiches are nice, though light on the meat and filling.
Definitely would recommend the bread here.
