Quick, fast, friendly, and fresh! Everything you want and need in the morning! I had a delicious croissant and a chai tea latte. I will be coming back more often.

Love this place! Coffee is fantastic, better than any of the big name companies. Owner and his wife are extremely nice and make you feel welcome everytime. Breakfast is great here as well. Breakfast burrito is made with egg whites making it a healthier alternative to most breakfast options. Everything comes out quick and hot and the prices are very reasonable!

Been here multiple times now and it’s a great place to just sit and relax. I’ve been mainly coming here when I’m not traveling for work and using it as a satellite office. There is plenty of space for seating in an array of different couches and the background music differs, but mainly stays in the smooth jazz area. Internet is super fast. Owner is super friendly and a great guy overall from what I can tell. The staff generally is also very nice and accommodating. Also if you frequent here, definitely grab a stamp card. Coffee is good and the food offering is varied from fruits, pastries, and sandwiches. I mainly have an iced coffee here. Also the sizes of the drinks are quite large so a heads up to that. Hit up this place if you’re in the area.

Cute little café, great coffee, and the staff are always really sweet. Total mom-and-pop feel. They have a selection of baked goods and ice cream as well. I come here once a week or so and am always happy with the service and coffee.

The owner is so nice! I’ve been meaning to check this place out and dropped by for the first time this weekend for a coffee and breakfast burrito. The coffee was good and the burrito was excellent(the home made salsa was especially delicious), but the best part was definitely the customer service.

Agree to disagree. So many 5 star ratings for Conejo Coffee is crazy to me. The 3rd highest rating in all of Newbury Park, well that’s just sad for Newbury Park. Out-of-towners don’t judge! A few points. It’s in one of those funky strip malls that is hard to enter, can’t make a left turn out of it, and pulling into it just feels inconvenient… not something they can control at this point, except that they chose the location to begin with. My only time trying it out… a few months back… a gentleman was sitting at his desk in a back office and he probably couldn’t see me at the counter, but nobody was tending the front counter. I could hear him talking loudly in a different language on a phone call(not that the language matters, just trying to paint you a picture). I waited… and I waited a little more. I coughed, and then I coughed, and then I walked over to try and get his attention… eye contact… oh good yes he saw me. Wait, maybe he didn’t. So I walked back, yes he definitely saw me. And then I waited, as he kept on with the call. To put this all in perspective I ended up probably only waiting 8 – 10 minutes to order, but it felt longer. When he was done, I got a coffee. No espresso, just coffee, around $ 2. One sip and I could tell it had been sitting there for hours. Super bitter. In their defense it was about noon, so maybe for them it doesn’t make sense to make fresh brew all throughout the day. Before I sat down in my vehicle, I dumped it. It was a full cup of coffee that I dumped… after waiting 10 minutes. So that’s my experience. No hard feelings. I tried it. I don’t get the 5 stars. I just think that us Newbury Park’ers really really want something good that’s anti-chain, but we don’t, so we try and convince ourselves how good these not so good places are.

Coffee to me is like oxygen; I can’t live without it. Saw the cute sign outside one day and kept saying, «I need to come check this place out». Eventually I did, which was yesterday. First impressions are everything, and when we walked in, we were immediately greeted. My coffee was delicious, cute little tables outside, everything was perfect. I wish I was hungry because I would love to try the sandwiches, or smoothies, or frozen yogurt… etc.

I have been coming to Conejo Coffee for 10 years now and still my favorite Mom-n-Pop coffee shop. Breakfast burritos are great. Also try the great Locs and bagels

I love small mom and pop shops that do it right. Conejo(rabbit) coffee has a cute name and establishment. I came in to try and dodge traffic coming home from the outlets. I am so happy to have stumbled upon this little gem. Service was very friendly and quick and the menu has many options from burritos to juices and of course delicious coffee with a leaf design on top. This will def become my go-to outlet ritual.

Went there today by luck as I wanted breakfast and saw them whilst getting off freeway. Wonderful to find a small coffee place and not the usual suspects! Very nice family owned, great service, lox bagel wax awesome and my mocha was good. Priced reasonable. Will go again when in the area.

Still love this friendly place. Even their decaf coffee tastes amazing. If they added any vegan treats I would be over the moon :)

This place has friendly and helpful staff/owners, a great ambience for hanging out or doing computer work, plays awesome music(jazz, classical, lounge), has cool art on the walls, and is conveniently located. Unfortunately, I’m one of those people that can’t stand hot coffee, and prefer it cold. They don’t offer cold-pressed coffee, and most of their espresso drinks(mochas, etc) always come out tasting watered down. The one drink I recently tried that I really liked was the ice white mocha. I can’t judge, because I know the traditional way to drink coffee is hot, but I would love getting a delicious iced red eye, or iced vanilla latte and have it be strong, cool and amazing. :) I will keep coming back here though, because this place always makes me feel welcome and I know they appreciate my business.

Really wish I could give this place more stars… Good location and the owner was friendly. But unfortunately seems he knows nothing about coffee at all. A little about me. I am not a Starbucks lover. I prefer a well crafted cup of coffee starting with the roast of the beans. Brewing method is also important. If you know and care about coffee taking a little extra care to prepare it properly is a must. Ambiance of this café was nice, but it was ruined by the smell of chemical cleaner that was so overly pungent it have me a really bad headache that lasted all afternoon.(We did show up right before closing time tho… And the owner joked about putting bleach in the coffee) The coffee– I asked the polite man behind the counter what type of beans they brew… To this he replied… «Every kind.»(Not quite sure he was understanding me… I rephrased the question to: is all of your coffee a dark roast? Or do you also have a light or medium roast as well? Reply I got«oh we have whatever you like» I asked for a light roast coffee. And he pumped me out a cup of their Colombian. When he handed it to me, it appeared to have soapy bubbles over the top that were not dissipating… Yikes! Maybe he wasn’t joking about adding bleach! I smelled the coffee, definitely burnt… After tasting it… the coffee was definitely a «dark roast». The coffee was so acidic both my husband and I got sick from drinking it. So sad…
