Madison, WI
Soft linens, comfortable bed, pillows like big sandbags. No ice machines during renovation.
Friendly staff at the desk and restaurant, but you can’t take food to your room from the breakfast line other than coffee. Since we aren’t early risers after the night out, this was a little disappointing.
Given the price of a room here (while the place is being remodeled into the Hudson Valley Hotel & Conference Center) compared to other nearby places I’ve stayed before, it was a solid choice.
