The nicest staff I’ve had experienced at a liquor store. Truly asked by every employee if I needed help, but not in a harassing way, in a helpful, kind, genuinely interested in what I was looking to purchase kind of way. They have awesome features no other place in Gainesville has — 1) a wine bottle chiller. Dip your bottle for a few minutes in the icy cold water to chill your bottle before taking home. 2) a virtual bartender screen. Touch of the screen helps you determine what drink you’re looking to enjoy and helps you gather all the ingredients necessary to make at home. It talks to you and has so many choices to choose from. Can’t get easier than this! 3) Walk in cooler for tastings. Want to sample tastes of liquor before buying? Visit their closet size cooler for a sample, free of charge. Can’t get better than that! So many options to choose from! Wine selection is great and liquor selection even better. I’ve seen better beer selections elsewhere, but not bad for housing as much variety as they do. Again, staff is great. Sign up for their emails — you’ll be notified of Friday night tastings including wine and liquor. Woo woo! :) Check it out!

Love. Love. Love love love. I came here just for a browse and left awed. The selection of staples is absolutely ridiculous, and the variety of cordials blew my mind. I originally settled on a bottle of Moonstone Coconut Lemongrass Sake, a prized treat that sends everyone at Wine. Woot into orgasmic frenzy. And then I saw that they carried Sabra, an Israeli chocolate-orange import, and I freaked. When I gushed about my find to the clerk, she chuckled and said«Yeah, we try to keep a little of everything in stock.» Really? I’d given up all hope of finding this stuff without a major road trip, and here it is just waiting for me in lil’ ol’ Jonesville? Holy moly. Prices are reasonable. You’ll do better at various stores in Gainesville, but they’ve got some real rarities here. Bonus feature: they have a chiller closet with several bottles of liqueur labeled«taster.» So you can sample before you buy. So, yeah. Go check them out. :)
