I manage a business that uses Showcase of Flowers for delivery. As the manager I have never had so many people ask where I get my flowers from until I started using Showcase. They are always on time for delivery, they use expressive freedom when designing the flower arrangements to match the seasons and the flowers last a long time. They use flowers cut at different times to make arrangements last longer which is good value for the money. You can’t find that at a cookie cutter place like a grocery store or a online flower chain.
If I have a problem with a flower arrangement they are willing to work me me as well. Great partnering company to work with.

I was really let down by the flowers I had delivered to my mother for her birthday. I knew it was Jan. 9th 2015 (so winter time and not the best season for fresh flowers) but I was hoping for something near-​ish what I saw online. I paid the extra $ 20 to get the premium design but none of the lilies were open (my mom’s favorite flower– thus why I pick the design I did) — some in fact were rock hard, lime green and won’t open because they were cut too early… Here it is 2 days later and only 1 has started to open. I would have paid maybe $ 15 for what I got and the $ 10 for delivery– Not $ 65 total for 3 roses, some other random flowers, and lilies that never opened. I’ve attached a picture because it was still cute– but not $ 65 cute and lacking the main flower it advertised cute. It was just really disappointing and not worth the money by far.

I walked into this florist to pick out some flowers for my Mom, that same evening was her retirement party. The gal was by no means rude, but she was not quite friendly either. I had my 7 year old daughter with me, who picked each flower herself for them to be arranged. She did not seem to have a lot of patience for that. She did, however, put together a nice arrangement, it was very pretty. But here is where it went downhill. I had some «Happy Retirement» balloons that I had ordered online that I needed filled with helium. I saw they had a tank. Even though I spent $ 37 on flowers, she charged me 75 cents per balloon to fill them. Really? If I just walked in and asked for my balloons to be filled, I could see being charged. But you can’t fill a few balloons after I spent $ 37? She did attach ribbon to them, which is something. But overall, the experience just left a bad taste in my mouth. I could have gone to a grocery store and gotten a very nice arrangement for much less, it would not have included a vase, but I know my mom has plenty of vases. It just feels like no one offers good customer service anymore, this place not being an exception.

Too bad I can’t upload a photo to use as an evidence of their poor quality.
I browsed through their website, was pleased with what I saw, and ordered flowers for my aunt. She sent me a photo of the flowers and it DID NOT. I repeat. DID NOT look ANYTHING LIKE THEIR website photo. When I called them to complain about the drastic difference in the quality and quantity of flowers (Yes, I get the substitute policy, yes, I get that their website photo has a certain orientation) but after 5 minutes of going-​nowhere conversation, the florist on the phone said:
«The recipe for this item calls for 8 stems.»
To which I replied, «That’s nice that your recipe calls for 8 stems, your website photo has at least 13 stems, I’m counting them. Isn’t it deceiving to have a picture that says this is what you’re selling if you’re recipe has 5 LESS stems???»
ANYWAY. They replaced the original delivery with a new vase of flowers that looks basically the same. AND yes, they TOOK the originally delivered flowers with them.
My aunt was apologetic to me and said that Safeway has better flower quality. I had to google Safeway (because I don’t live in OR) to find out that it is a grocery.
I am frustrated and aggravated for their quality of care. I feel ripped off and that’s not a good feeling.

I used this florist when I got married. I didn’t have any particular flowers chosen and just knew that I wanted some small roses with springtime flowers. I told the florist in the small shop about the flowers I liked and she simply made it work. Everything was awesome and reasonably priced. This shop also delivers bouquets, which are always fun to receive (hint, hint).

I ordered gardenias for my wedding up-​do and they were amazing! They were fresh and beautiful and very nicely taped to wire with a solid wreath of fake leaves that acted as a good template to pin the flower into my hair-​do.
I planned my wedding from Washington DC so it was imperative to have vendors that were reliable and timely and A Showcase of Flowers did an excellent job of having my flowers ready and looking exactly as I imagined.
I would highly recommend A Showcase of Flowers for anyone looking for wedding flowers or flowers for any other occasion.
