This is by far, the coolest, little park, I’ve ever been to. It’s small size has nothing on it’s depth and character. It’s also a mini Frisbee-golf park. It just need some gnomes, a bridge, a Billy goat, a princess and maybe a troll and you could have the perfect fairytale park.

Five stars for location(in relation to my cousin’s house). Five stars for parking(because there has been a ton of it the last four times I went). Five stars for the great time I had with my family launching out of here(not really the doing of the park, I know, but still). Parking fees are on the honor system for your trailer. There are a couple of tables looking out onto the water if you’re not getting on a boat. The loading area was manageable and people were courteous, for the most part. There is a port-a-potty if you’re dying to go instead of going in the river :)

Took a walk here at night, parking right up abutting the park on its east side, after eating too much pasta at a bistro in Aurora. Frisbee golf is really what this area is good for. Like a big hole in the ground with a very small creek coursing through it. No real carved out path, and quite the opposite of maniured. It’s au naturale here.
