I purchased a bottle of Alamos Malbec wine for 11.99. A bottle that I can usually get at Stateline for 8.99, or other comparable liquor stores for 9.99 at the most expensive price. Nonetheless, I purchased it and got home and it was rancid. Immediately, I called and told the gentleman that it was bad and that I couldn’t return it until two days from then because I would be working late(teacher, starting school, etc). He started to argue that no one else had a problem with it. I calmly said I understood that no one else’s bottle was bad, but mine was and I would be returning it. I was only calling as a courtesy because I couldn’t return it that day and I was just in half an hour prior. He continued to argue that other people didn’t have a problem with the wine so why did I. I told him I would see him on Tuesday and started to thank him and he said, «No, you can bring it tomorrow.» I had already explained that I was a teacher and could not bring it in because I had students. This went on for a few minutes. He said I could bring it in at 9 am. He began dictating the time of day, 9 am, 10 am, in this few minute conversation. I believe it was tactic to deter me from bringing the bottle back honestly. And, it worked. I have ZERO interest in getting my money back or dealing with him. He can keep my 12 dollars. The full bottle is still sitting on my counter because I’m contemplating at least delivering the bottle back so he can have a souvenir for his efforts. What an awful experience. I do NOT recommend this establishment.

This place is close to my closest grocery so I decided to give it a try on a Sunday night. The store signage stated that its closed at 8:00. I arrived around 7:45 and I was followed down the aisle by a young man who said«We are closing now, you must come to the register» I grabbed my items quickly and was in line with about 7 people. Half way into my check out the young man left the counter and locked the door, looking another associate outside and yelling at him for letting another customer in… By this time it was 7:55 and the door was locked before closing time. The man took my money and I went to leave but the door was locked. So I had to wait for every other person in line to check out in order to leave. I WILLNEVERRETURN to this liquor store, the employees were so unprofessional and the product was over priced. The convince of its location is not worth the headache of walking in the door.

DONOTGOTHERE! This store has repeatedly up charged it’s shelf price. The price will say $ 22.99 and they will charge you $ 24.50at the register. They will give you some BS argument that you saw another price for different brand or a different type within the brand. Even when you grab the shelf price tag and show it to them, they will still attempt to up charge you. Also, when you argue the matter, they will also mutter some quite derogatory phrase about you. This incident has not only happened to me, they have done it to other people I know. The last time my fiancé went in there some irate would be customer told him to make sure he check the price and bring it with him to the register. DONOTUSEWASTEYOURMONEYINTHISSTORE.
