Specialties

Masako’s Music Studio offers a sequential and comprehensive curriculum for the musical development of students. Group lessons include Early Childhood Music (from 18 months), Keyboard (from 4 year old), and Singing (from 5 year old). Private lessons include piano, voice, violin, guitar, and flute.

Our mission is «To enrich students’ lives through unique instruction and performance opportunities, and to help nurture a lifelong love of music.»

History

Established in 2006.

Masako’s Music Studio was established in Fremont in 2006. In 2014, the second location was opened in Newark. Currently, we are teaching in both locations.

Meet the Business Owner

Masako Y.

Business Owner

Masako Yamamoto holds a Doctor of Education (Ed.D) and an M.S. degree in Music Education from the University of Illinois at Urbana-​Champaign. She also holds a B.A. degree in Music (voice performance) from Elizabeth University of Music in Japan. She has been teaching music for more than 30 years in Japan and in the US. She has taught music classes in middle schools, special education schools, preschools, and at various music studios. She received many awards including «Marilyn Zimmerman Music Education Doctoral Fellowship» from the University of Illinois.
